About Camino Asian Bistro

Welcome to Camino Asian Bistro, a Chinese restaurant nestled in the heart of Boca Raton, Florida, dedicated to bringing the rich and diverse flavors of Chinese cuisine to the local community. Located at 1001 SW 2nd Ave #5000, Boca Raton, FL 33432, USA, Camino Asian Bistro offers a culinary experience that many residents have been longing for in South Florida.

As a family-owned establishment, Camino Asian Bistro prides itself on its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Many customers have highlighted the friendliness of the owners, creating a sense of community and personal touch that often goes missing in larger restaurant chains. This personal connection resonates with patrons who appreciate supporting local businesses and enjoy a more intimate dining experience.

The menu at Camino Asian Bistro has garnered positive feedback from numerous diners. Customers have expressed their satisfaction with the variety and quality of the dishes, stating that they have yet to order anything they didn't love. This suggests a commitment to using fresh ingredients and preparing meals with authentic Chinese culinary techniques. Whether you are craving classic favorites or looking to explore more regional specialties, Camino Asian Bistro aims to provide a diverse selection to satisfy every palate.

For those who prefer to enjoy their meals in the comfort of their own homes, Camino Asian Bistro offers both takeout and delivery services. This convenience allows local residents to savor the delicious flavors of their Chinese cuisine without having to dine in. One customer shared their positive experience of having food delivered to their father, a local resident, and how much they enjoyed it that they now make a weekly 35-minute drive with friends to dine at the restaurant. This speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.

However, it is important to provide a balanced and objective introduction based on all available information. Some customer reviews have pointed out potential areas for improvement, particularly concerning order fulfillment times during peak hours. While the food quality is generally praised, a few reviewers have mentioned experiencing significant delays in receiving their orders, both for dine-in and takeout. One customer described the ordering process as "playing roulette with your meal time," highlighting inconsistencies in wait times and communication regarding delays.

According to these reviews, the restaurant appears to face challenges in managing order volume during busy periods. It has been suggested that the order-taking process, often handled by the children of the owners, may not always align with the kitchen's capacity, leading to longer-than-anticipated wait times. Some customers have reported being informed of substantial delays only after a considerable amount of time has passed, and have expressed dissatisfaction with the communication regarding these delays.

Despite these concerns about service speed, the underlying sentiment in some reviews is a desire to see Camino Asian Bistro succeed, especially given the perceived lack of high-quality Chinese food options in the Boca Raton area. Customers who appreciate the family-owned aspect and the quality of the food are hopeful that the restaurant will address the reported issues with order management and customer communication to ensure a more consistently positive experience.

For local users seeking an authentic Chinese culinary experience in Boca Raton, Camino Asian Bistro presents an opportunity to enjoy flavorful dishes prepared with care. The positive feedback regarding the food quality and the warm, family-owned atmosphere suggests a promising dining destination. However, it is advisable for customers, especially during peak hours, to be mindful of potential wait times based on recent customer experiences. Contacting the restaurant directly at (561) 418-6800 or +1 561-418-6800 to inquire about current wait times or to place an order may be a helpful step.

In conclusion, Camino Asian Bistro offers a taste of genuine Chinese cuisine in Boca Raton, backed by the charm and dedication of a family-run business. While some operational challenges have been noted in customer reviews, the positive comments regarding the food quality and the welcoming atmosphere indicate a restaurant with significant potential and a loyal customer base who appreciate authentic flavors. As Camino Asian Bistro continues to serve the community, addressing the feedback regarding service efficiency will be crucial in ensuring consistent customer satisfaction and long-term success in the local dining scene.

GREAT PLACE! Lived in south florida for over 10 years and I've really missed Chinese Food! We think this place is fantastic. Family owned and they are so nice! Have Not ordered anything that we didn't love. First time had it delivered to my father's (since he's local). Now we drive the 35 minutes at least one per week with friends. Our friends all live it too. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food... but it's worth the wait!

Given Boca's lack of decent Chinese food, one has to root for the success of a new family-owned Chinese restaurant. The food at Camino Asian is fine--better than most Chinese in Boca. However, ordering from them is playing roulette with your meal time. And, when you gamble, you lose, and the house wins. The children take the orders; the parents cook. During peak times, the children only know to take orders regardless of whether the parents can handle the load. They eventually tell customers of the potential of a wait but only after the wait is in the 90-minute area. Moreover, the children have no idea how a customer should be treated. They routinely understate the time the order will be filled. And are typically unapologetic for the delays they cause. I've ordered four times. They were very late on three occasions. The last one was today. Knowing there would be large volume, I placed an order at noon for 4:00 pick up. I got my order around 5:00. It was clear that they paid no attention to the order until I arrived. This review parallels others in Yelp. I hope they wake up to their problems and save themselves before they go belly up due to the way they abuse their customers.

Not ready for prime time. What a train wreck Christmas Day. Ordered take-out early online for a 5:15 pick up. I thought I may have a problem because many of the items on the menu were associated with duplicate item numbers (e.g., S1, S2, S2, S3, etc). But since I ordered by item name, I figured it was just a website glitch. Arrived at 5:20 and asked if my order was ready, and was told another 5-10 minutes by a young boy. Certainly reasonable. As I waited I started chatting with a guy who ordered online for a 4:30 pickup! Wait! What!? It was now 5:35. People were being told "your order isn't ready yet" and when they asked how much longer, was told "at least an hour." An hour!? At 5:50 or so I squeezed my way back to the register and asked about my order. I was ready to cancel. The guy found my ticket and pointed to an item on the order and said " we don't have this," pointing to Honey Garlic Chicken. I said "that's too bad, but that's not what I ordered." I thought he had the wrong order, but after further inspection I noticed the other items were correct under the correct phone number. I asked him to cancel the order and credit my card and was told the order was never put through and charged. They need to shut down the "order online" option on their website and re-tool. It's obviously not accurate. As one of my fellow reviewers wrote, it looked like they didn't pay attention to the online orders until you came it, and at the point was told "it'll be at least an hour." Clearly the kitchen was severely understaffed. It's too bad, I've read other reviews and the food is good. Maybe I'll try again in a couple of months when they get their act together.

The food is rather bland. If you have asian condiments and sauces at home you can remedy this yourself if you get takeout. We have given this place three tries and the food is different levels of flavor each time. There is no real customer service. They just take your order and you wait. This is just another mediocre Chinese takeout place in Boca. Not a lot of good things to say about it other than it's food.

Went today for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The Pork Egg roll actually had pork and was delicious. The pork dumplings very flavorful. We can't wait to go back and try the many different dishes they offer.
