Cafe India Bar & Grill (Bay View)

Amazing food, it’s a family favorite! My sibling insisted we come here for their birthday, despite it being a bit of a drive for them! Their butter chicken was very good, and everyone else loved their food!! Only thing was that our food came before our appetizers, and I personally liked their quick service that allowed for that to happen, but some of my family wasn’t too happy about that.

I have never been to an Indian restaurant before. All I can say is WOW!!!!! This food is AMAZING! The spices are absolutely perfect in ever since of the word. We had Biryani rice with chicken, butter chicken, daal with white rice, garlic naan, and beef samosas with a wonderful selection of dipping sauces. We went on a Saturday afternoon. I was shocked to see how there was such an influx of people there to eat. I also seen a lot of people ordering takeout. There were also a couple of door dash and UBER eats coming through. This food is DELICIOUS!!!

The Indian cuisine here was so good! Honestly, it's some of the best tasting I've had! The service was a bit off as my partners drink was forgotten until well into our meal. And while the tables were beautifully laid out, it was odd that there were tvs on every wall playing sports (yes, that's just a personal preference). Overall, I definitely would return and try more tasty dishes.

This was our family's 1st visit for dinner here. The food was quite good. The server recommended starters - Chile Paneer and Veggie platter. Both were delish. We ordered a host of other dishes, some gluten-free, others not, including Curry Chicken, Marsala Chicken, Tika Chicken, Tandoori Chicken and a few more. For me personally, selecting "medium" spice/heat was not too spicy and pretty easy to enjoy. The service was prompt, good portions, drinks were fine, decor is nice and the whole experience was great. Parking may be a bit challenging on busy nights.

Food: 8.25/10 - Lamb Biryani (Mild): Cooked amazingly, the lamb is very soft and tender, and seasoned amazingly. The rice is seasoned perfectly, giving it the perfect blend of the spices used. 10/10 - Naan: Cooked and made well, pairs amazingly with curry 9/10 - Paneer: Cooked well, tastes great 7/10 - Seafood Manchurian: The sauce is seasoned well, the fish is ok though. The shrimp is cooked well. 7/10 Service: The service is amazing, the servers keep checking up on us to see if we need anything. They’re also very welcoming. 10/10 Atmosphere: The restaurant exudes Indian-Pakistani all throughout, especially with their choice of furnishings and music. 10/10 Overall: 9.4/10
