About Cafe China
Cafe China is a Chinese Restaurant situated at 10920 S Parker Rd b3 in Parker, Colorado (80134, USA). As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, Cafe China offers a variety of Chinese dishes and appears to provide services for both takeout and potentially dine-in customers. They can be contacted at (303) 840-2828 or +1 303-840-2828.
Recent customer reviews present a stark contrast in experiences at Cafe China. One particularly concerning review alleges that the restaurant sold the customer's phone number to third-party advertisers shortly after they moved to the area. This is a serious accusation regarding the handling of customer information and privacy.
Regarding service, one customer described an impolite interaction with a terse lady at the pickup counter, contrasting it with the polite and kind service received from a male staff member. This suggests inconsistency in customer service quality.
Feedback on the food quality is also mixed. While one reviewer found the dumplings to be nice, they were the only positive aspect of their order. The orange beef was described as extremely soggy and mushy, excessively sweet, and ultimately inedible. The chicken lo mein was found to be stodgy, congealed, and bland, lacking the desired "wok hay" flavor. Furthermore, this customer reported finding a spot of sauce in their steamed rice, indicating a potential issue with cross-contamination, which led to a very negative overall rating.
In contrast, a long-term customer who has been visiting Cafe China since its opening consistently found the food to be fresh and well-cooked, considering it one of the best they have been to, especially after a reported reopening following a summer break. This suggests that the quality of food may have varied or improved at some point. This reviewer noted improvements in the rice, soup, and main courses.
Given these diverse and conflicting recent reviews, it is difficult to provide a definitive assessment of Cafe China's current environment, services, and features. While some long-time patrons have had positive experiences with the food, significant concerns have been raised recently regarding service, food quality (sogginess, excessive sweetness, blandness, potential contamination), and a serious allegation about the sale of customer phone numbers. Local users should carefully consider this recent feedback when deciding whether to patronize Cafe China. There is no information available regarding specific promotional offers.

HUGE UPDATE! THEY'RE SELLING PHONE NUMBERS!! I just moved to Parker like a month ago, and got calls just now from a senior living center trying to advertise to me. Exactly three companies have gotten my phone number and know I live in Parker now: Amazon, American Express, and CAFE CHINA!! Not even my leasing office has my number, they have my husband's. They busted themselves by process of elimination! Don't buy here unless you want your info sold!!! As for the service here: Upon pickup, a very terse lady asked me for my phone number, from far behind the counter. I could not hear her, she was not polite. A more polite man found the food and took my payment, he was chill and kind. The lady needs to understand that he can NOT compensate for her, and maybe just stay away from the counter. As for the food: The dumplings are nice, and they were the only thing. That's the best thing I can say. I had an order of orange beef, chicken lo mein, dumplings and egg rolls. I picked it up at the time indicated on my order, and let me tell you: by the time I got there, the orange beef was absolutely soggy and sodden, all the way through. It is downright mushy. Not a single iota of crispness. I believe it was cooked well, as it tasted well prepared (not good though, for other reasons) but they very much need to avoid MASSIVELY over-estimating the ready time, to the point it ruins dishes. Additionally, it is severely too sweet. I know this is always a risk when I order anything from an American Chinese place, but this is one of the worst offenders I've had in a long time. The sauce is basically concentrated syrup. Let's put it this way, there were actual orange pieces, which is commendable, but I was using them to CLEAN MY PALETTE of the sauce. I'm hormonal-hungry right now, and did not finish the dish. My husband got chicken lo mein and allowed me a few bites. But... here's a picture of what it looked like coming out of the box. They stuffed it down and it was stodgy and congealed. It does taste better than the orange beef, and I usually scoff at reviews that say things are bland, especially Chinese, but this was indeed bland. Chinese food that is simple and well prepared is a delight. This was 90% cheap noodles and uninspired sauce. The wok hay is just not there and that's a make or break for me with lo mein. It IS a simple dish, it's supposed to be. I make it better myself and I'm by no means Chinese. Dear owners: You should try these two condiments. Dark soy and shao xing wine. Why are they in my kitchen but not yours? The worst: My steamed rice had a spot of sauce in it, as if a used spoon was used to scoop it. I was going ot give a 2-star, but this is what you did to get my 1. Cross contamination is not okay. Not ever. Period.
We have eaten at the CC since it opened. Always have found the food to be fresh and well cook. One of the best I have ever been to. Especially after the reopening from the summer break. Every thing we had was kicked up a notch. The rice, soup and main courses. Seamed to even better than I remember Keep it up. P.s. when is Tony coming back?
This "restaurant" needs to be closed down. The workers are rude and disrespectful. The quality of the food has gone down greatly recently. If I could give zero stars, I would. How they are still in business is shocking to me. Even Grub Hub dropped them from their platform because there were so many issues. Do yourself a favor, avoid the headache and wasted money by choosing anywhere else but this place!!!
Peter and Yoyo are the nicest people. The food is excellent. I enjoy the chicken curry with white rice. Everything I have ordered has been good.
It’s -7° out and this food really hit the spot. I have lived in Parker forever, but never tried Cafe China until tonight. Really happy with the food! Used the website to order online, I’m a pretty plain eater, and they followed all instructions. I’ve ordered from many Chinese restaurants in the past and have always received steamed rice with my Lo Mein. I assumed it came with it l, but it does not here. If you want steamed rice, you just need to add it to your order. Still a great value for the price. I will definitely order from here again!
