Buns n Dumplings

Best quick bite place in new haven. Especially if you are looking for a delicious snack late night. We ordered the scallion pancake with crispy chicken and it’s PHENOMENAL. you have to come here.

I placed an order through Uber Eats, the delivery was more or less on time and the food was still hot. The pork sticky rice and Shu Mai were delicious. I cannlt wait to order from them again.

The spicy noodles were salty and my steam buns were not cooked all the way through. It must’ve been an off day because when I had their food before (not these dishes) it was good. Not happy with today though.

Questionable quality food. I received a soup and dumplings order via Uber eats from this restaurant last night…….. the pork ball was gray in color like a corpse, and rubbery like like a pencil eraser. Totally disgusting and non edible. The fish ball was a mound of what tasted and looked like glued together imitation crab meat. I sank my teeth in it and immediately spit it out. The dumplings were dried out and tasted like paper. Waste of money.. I wouldn’t recommend. I didn’t even eat it

Yes place looks questionable but food is amazing. We had to come back for the second portion of dumplings.
