I had an absolutely wonderful experience at here! Their traditional pho was incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by their homemade chili paste, which added just the right kick. I also tried the egg drop soup, which was warm, comforting, and delicious. To top off the meal, we had their chocolate cake, and wow—it was light, airy, and packed with flavor. Our server, Steven, who is also the owner, truly made the experience exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great recommendations while staying attentive throughout the meal. He ensured our water glasses were always full and checked in with us just the right amount. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a cozy dining experience. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Vietnamese cuisine. I can’t wait to go back very soon!

This place may seem a bit unassuming at first glance, but it truly offers a culinary adventure that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The exceptionally helpful waiter explained the menu options in a mouthwatering way, making it hard to choose! The highlight, of course, was the food. The fresh rolls we had for starters were flavorful and fresh, setting a great tone for the meal. The main course was equally authentic; the Bun Bo Hue was delicious. While I hoped for a spicier noodle dish, the provided chili sauce did the trick perfectly. The standout, however, was the Tofu Lemongrass Curry. Wow. This dish was a fantastic, flavorful vegetarian option. The curry was authentic, and the lemongrass flavor made it truly exceptional. Overall, Bui Vietnamese Restaurant offers an amazing dining experience that I would highly recommend.

Found this gem for lunch on the way to Boston and we were swept away by the flavors and service. They currently don’t have a lunch menu but flavors were awesome and we licked the plates clean. The pickled radish and ginger in the salad was mind blowing. Chatted up with the owner and chef is his mil.

Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, this place offer an overpriced menu, with food far from authenticity. The Pho we ordered was bland with overcooked meat. The stir fried noodle was also forgettable. What really bothered me was the funny taste of the water served. The server did not offer any solution other than asking us to order bottled water or other drinks. There are good things about this place: the decor is cozy, we ordered a fruit punch to stay away from the tap water and it was good. The server was attentive, the sauce bottles were clean and kept chilled, and the chilly oil came out with the Pho was delicious.

I’ve eaten here twice and had a great meal both times. We came with a group of 7 the first time and the owner was able to accommodate us, the second time we made reservations for a group of 4. I’d recommend making reservations if you’d like to dine in for dinner! They do a busy to-go business as well. Food is flavorful, fresh, and delicious plus they have a lot of vegetarian options. I grew up in Seattle surrounded by Vietnamese restaurants and despite living in Brooklyn and eating at Vietnamese places around New York City, Bui’s is the closest to the flavors I grew up with.
