Customer Reviews
My old go-to Vietnamese when I lived close to the OSU campus. Haven’t been here for awhile, but the Pho is still great! Ordered the signature Pho (combo beef) and the vegan Pho. Both very good. Plenty of beef, veggies, and noodles. Both broths were very flavorful. Reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service.
Decided to come in for a visit after one of my work colleagues (who is Vietnamese) recommended this spot. I'll say, I was not disappointed! This is either the 3rd or 4th Vietnamese restaurant I've tried in Columbus so far and I think I have to give it the best pho in Columbus (so far) award. But not by a huge margin! The pho broth is very comforting and clean. It is exactly what it should be. The meats and all the fixings are very good quality, which is what really gives this pho the edge. Might be the best Vietnamese meatballs I've ever had. The steak was more tender than I'm used to in pho (but to be fair, I think a lot of restaurants use cheaper cuts here). The tendon also had the appropriate consistency. The service was very friendly and attentive. I didn't come in at the busiest time of their week, which would be the true test of their service, but they were very friendly nevertheless. I asked a couple questions and for recommendations, and they were quick to offer and help guide you. They also checked in with me regularly to make sure I was enjoying it and if I needed anything else. The atmosphere was casual and clean. This isn't always the case for restaurants like this, unfortunately! I will definitely return to explore more of their menu!
Place is more catered for non Vietnamese patrons. Beef stew was real watery, pho broth wasn’t very good and their sandwiches were so not legit. Grilled chicken sandwich uses the same chicken slices they put in their chicken pho. The sibling restaurant Mi Li Cafe offers better Vietnamese cuisine.
My girlfriend and I came to try the food to see if it matchs my taste. My girlfriend ordered a jumbo pho for us to share and a ciuple appetizers. The tall Chinese guy with glasses came out with bad attitude and stared at my girlfriend when she get a jumbo Pho, then said "Really!!! You gonna eat the whole thing?" Then forced us to change to normal size. We never really know why that guy doesn't want us to get the Jumbo. I mean jumbo size is big but we want to share, plus customers can get whatever we want in the restaurant. That guy never smile until we tip though, and seem like he try to make as much money as possible without good service. Food tastes fine, lack of bone taste in the broth. I mean the food here would be on one of the top of Viet restaurant in the area, but it needs to figure out how to serve customers professionally.
Oh my. This pho was tasty! I got a shrimp and pork summer roll for an appetizer and then a large combo pho. We came in on a Sunday for brunch with friends from Cincy. Def recommend calling in for a reso. We did wait about 10-15 mins for a table. Either way, staff was friendly and service was quick! Def recommend if you’re in the area.
