Brother Seafood Restaurant

We came here with friends to have dim sum before noontime. It’s a Monday, so not many customers here at this time. Guess weekends are crowded as it’s steps away from an Asian supermarket. We ordered several items of dim sum, all tasted quite authentic and delicious. Waiters were very polite and tentative. Will come back some other time.

Yesterday I took my father for lunch here and the food came out very fast and was very fresh. I had the shrimp balls which were crispy and light . Seared pork dumplings that melted in my mouth . My father had the general tso that he said was very good. I also had some beef chow fun and crispy garlic chicken. The chicken didn’t have much garlic flavor but a little dab will do you with garlic. We were in and out in an hour. If I’m back in the area I’ll def stop by and try their other dim sum options.

This is an old school dim sum restaurant, I would recommend this over any other location within this little selection. I really enjoyed the spinach and prawn versions and you can clearly see their handmade on site but more importantly they’re actually very tasty, the rest of the dim sum is decent however you should choose your preferred. I would say this place is good although I’m not sure if they speak Cantonese or not so take away from that what you will. I didn’t give this five stars as I have had excellent dim sum all over the world so I don’t think this rates as high as what else I have.

Came here on a Sunday with the family and decide to give this place a try. It did not disappoint. We decided to sample a variety of dim sum items, and each dish was pretty good. The Har Gow (shrimp dumplings) were delicate and flavorful, with perfectly steamed wrappers that held just the right amount of tender shrimp. The Shiu Mai (pork dumplings) were equally delightful, packed with savory goodness and a hint of sweetness. The rice rolls were smooth and silky, with a generous filling that added a satisfying bite. The pan-fried buns had a wonderfully crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy inside that made them irresistible. The turnip cakes were well-seasoned and had a nice, crispy texture on the outside while being tender on the inside. As for the scallion pancakes, they were light, flaky, and full of flavor—a great accompaniment to the other dishes. Every item we tried was on point, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that really stood out. The variety of offerings ensured that there was something for everyone, and the overall experience was one that I would definitely want to repeat. Brother Seafood Chinese Restaurant is now a go-to spot for me whenever I'm craving quality dim sum. If you're in the Cherry Hill area and looking for a place that serves delicious, authentic dim sum, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

The dim sum is mostly semi-prepared, with low quality. The skin of the Xiaolongbao is already wrinkled, lacking any soup or freshness. The pan-fried buns are completely different from the picture on the menu; the photo shows perfectly pleated buns, but the actual ones are just a lump of dough. The entire dining experience lacked service; apart from serving the dishes, the waitstaff hardly attended to us. There were leftover plates on the table, but no one came to clear them.
