About Bread Alone Bakery

Bread Alone Bakery is located at 3962 NY-28 in Boiceville, NY. Based on customer feedback, it appears to be a popular spot offering a range of food items beyond just baked goods, including breakfast and sandwiches.

One customer who visited when their usual diner had a long wait described their spicy green egg sandwich with chorizo as fantastic, noting its flavorful and well-balanced taste with a good level of heat. They also commented on the bakery being well-organized and very clean, even when busy, with friendly staff who kept things running smoothly. This reviewer highly recommended Bread Alone Bakery as a solid spot for a quick bite or a more relaxed stop.

However, another customer had a mixed experience. They noted that the only gluten-free option available was a wrap that was not made in-house. While they found their plain fried egg in a wrap to be acceptable, they unfortunately found a piece of hair in it. On a more positive note, this reviewer mentioned that their friends enjoyed the spicy egg breakfast sandwich. They also noted that the water cups appeared unclean and had an odor of dirty dishwater.

Overall, Bread Alone Bakery seems to offer some well-received menu items and a generally welcoming atmosphere. However, it's important to note the contrasting experiences regarding food quality and cleanliness based on the available reviews.

Bread Alone – Boiceville We stopped here after our go-to diner had too long a wait, and it ended up being a great choice. I got the spicy green egg sandwich with chorizo, and it was fantastic—flavorful, well-balanced, and just the right amount of heat. Even though the place was busy, it was well-organized, very clean, and the staff kept things running smoothly. Everyone was friendly, and the whole vibe was welcoming. Definitely a solid spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out a bit before getting back on the road. Highly recommended!

Only available gluten free option was the wrap, which is not made in house. I got a plain fried egg in a wrap, which was good for what it was however a piece of hair was found in it. My friends got the spicy egg breakfast sandwich and enjoyed! The water cups as note were not clean and smelled like dirty dishwater.

I had been looking forward to visiting Bread Alone Bakery for some time. Today, I finally had the chance and ordered the Spicy Green Egg Sandwich to go. However, upon opening it in my car, I found a burnt, dry sandwich lacking any spiciness. It consisted of two fried eggs, a small amount of arugula, and a long piece of scallion. It was too late for me to turn around and return it. The burnt bread was inedible, so I had to discard it and was left with just the eggs and arugula. Given that bread is their specialty, this was really disappointing.

The bagels will challenge your teeth. Prices are geared towards those unsuspecting city people coming up for the scenery. So trendy it will make you vomit. Great for people watching each one cooler than the next. It's what happens when the kids take over the business.
