About Bombay Kitchen

Welcome to Bombay Kitchen, an Indian restaurant located at 4107 Lawrenceville Hwy in Tucker, GA, USA. You can contact them at (770) 807-0799 or mobile +1 770-807-0799.

Bombay Kitchen is praised for its very flavorful and generally well-prepared food that comes out hot. Popular dishes include the lamb curry, vegetable korma, butter chicken, and veggie samosa, all reported to be tasty. However, customers should be aware that the prices are on the higher side, with most items around $17.99. One customer's order of these items totaled $70.

While the food is generally good, one review noted that the lamb curry was excessively oily. Another significant point of feedback is the slow order preparation time for online orders, with one customer experiencing a 35-minute wait, which was inconvenient due to a time constraint. This was attributed to a new and slow staff member.

The interior of Bombay Kitchen is described as modest, with a few booths and tables. Although a buffet setup is present, it does not appear to be in use currently, despite a sign on the front door indicating its availability. The service is noted as friendly and casual, particularly during mid-afternoon when the restaurant is less busy, with many orders being for takeout.

Customers have enjoyed the Lamb Vindaloo, highlighting its great flavors and appropriate level of spice. The restaurant is small, featuring about a dozen tables, textured beige/brown walls, and red tablecloths. A point of concern for one reviewer was the use of foam and plastic utensils for in-store dining, which contributed to a slightly lower rating.

Bombay Kitchen is known to offer a great lunch buffet. If you are in the Tucker area and appreciate flavorful Indian cuisine, Bombay Kitchen offers a wide variety of dishes. However, consider potential wait times for online orders and the casual dining atmosphere with disposable tableware for in-store meals.

The best part is that the food is very flavorful and generally is prepared well and comes out hot. But it’s pricy. Most items are $17.99!! I had the lamb curry and the vegetable korma and the butter chicken and the veggie Samosa and all tasted really good. Cost me $70!! I say generally prepared well because the lamb curry was extremely oily! The red oil settled on top in a thick layer and I had to pour it off in a can when I got home because it was probably a quarter inch of oil. The biggest downside is they took 35 minutes to prepare my order after I submitted it online. This is awful when you have a time Limit punch. The man who met me at the cash register when I came in told me he had a new guy who was slow. And that’s for sure. Also, inside the restaurant is really nothing great. A couple of booths and a few tables. The buffet machinery is set up there, but there’s nothing in it. Doesn’t look like they use it now even though it’s signed on the front door.

Great flavors and a wide combination of India dishes. We came in mid afternoon, so it was just a few people being served, most were take out orders. Very friendly and casual service. I had the Lamb Vindaloo and it came out great with nice flavors and just the right amount of spice (I love spicy good). My wife had vegetable samosas and rice. I know they have a great lunch buffet. Restaurant is small with a dozen tables and a textured beige/brown walls and red table cloths. The reason for the 4 verses 5 stars is the use of foam and plastic utensils for in-store dining.

The food here was fresh, very good and most importantly it was hot. The Butter Chicken with Rice was very good as was the Samosas. The Biriyani Chicken was good and was a healthy portion. I recommend dining here.

After driving by this place for years, we finally decided to stop by. The atmosphere wasn’t the best and we were eating things off of styrofoam plates but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. The portions were generous and prices were fairly low. We will check out their lunch buffet one of these days.
