About Bombay Chopsticks

Bombay Chopsticks is a Chinese restaurant located at 127 Queen St S in Mississauga, Ontario. They can be contacted at (905) 826-8583 or +1 905-826-8583.

Upon entering Bombay Chopsticks, customers have noted a great ambiance, describing the restaurant as modern and well-kept. The dining environment is also characterized as very nice, well-decorated, and spacious, suggesting a comfortable setting for diners.

However, customer experiences with the food and service have been less consistent. One reviewer mentioned difficulty in communication with the waitress, who reportedly barely understood their order. This customer also found the food to be bland, requiring the addition of sauce to make it palatable.

In contrast, another customer specifically praised the Manchurian veggie balls as fantastic with a perfect spice level. They also indicated that the overall food quality was very good, reminiscent of the restaurant's previous location along Hurontario St. Despite the positive feedback on some dishes, this reviewer pointed out that the restaurant offers poor value for money, with somewhat small portion sizes that do not include rice. The premium (expensive) pricing is also noted as a characteristic carried over from its former location.

In summary, Bombay Chopsticks offers a modern and appealing atmosphere in Mississauga. While some dishes, like the Manchurian veggie balls, have been well-received, there are concerns regarding the blandness of other food items and potential communication issues with the service staff. Additionally, customers should be aware that the portions are considered somewhat small and do not include rice, contributing to a perception of being a premium-priced restaurant. Local users may want to weigh these factors when considering dining at Bombay Chopsticks.

The ambiance is great! When you walk in, the restaurant looks modern and well kept. Unfortunately, I couldn't extend the same compliment to the food or the service. The waitress barely understood what we were trying to order. The food was bland, had to add sauce to be able to eat it

Very nice atmosphere and a well-decorated and spacious dining environment. Manchurian veggie balls tasted fantastic, and the spice level was perfect. Food was overall, very good quality ... very much like it was at this restaurant's previous location along Hurontario St. Unfortunately, poor value for money - portions somewhat small and do not include rice. Its premium (expensive) nature is something that was also carried over from its old location.

Great interior, but not maintained. The sofas close to the glass window has oil stains and didn’t even remove the stains. Then comes taking order, the server don’t have a note pad or anything to write down what they’re taking the order. He forgot to ask when to serve the food. Now coming to the food: 1) Chicken Wings : No flavor in the original, it’s breaded, we thought it would be original the wings would be fried, but not breaded. The wings also had feather fried with it. 2) Tom yum Soup : the soup was not bad. 3) Chicken corn soup: It was good too. 4) Manchurian chowmein (chicken. And veg): The chowmein actually was not bad, but it lacked flavor as well. 5) Manchurian chicken: so hard and smelly, didn’t like at all.

We had a very nice blend of Chinese and Thai. Tried the mango salad, basil fried rice, crispy noodles and lemon chicken. Lychee and mango juices as well. Made fresh and went down very clean (ex not oily or greasy) Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. And friendly waitstaff.

We had a lovely lunch at Bombay Chopsticks and our wonderful, attentive server Aniket helped explain the menu choices. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty!! Check it out.
