Blue Ginger

One of the most authentic Chinese/Asian food in Stamford. It has been my go to place since 2012. My favor dishes are Hunan spicy long pepper with Pork, steam dumplings, Taiwanese beef stew noodle soup, rainbow roll, Tomato with eggs.

Food was delicious, and service was great, also the atmosphere of the restaurant was really comfortable. Very friendly staffs that’s knowledgeable, and attentive. They got lot of varieties of food choices. A must try if you are into Asian cuisine.

Great lunch specials - definitely try their food during lunch specials to make your call on whether you like it or not! They have lunch specials for asian classics like General Tao’s chicken, and then sushi specials, etc. Worth a try, especially if you want chinese dine in (they’ve actually decorated the inside vs the very no frills takeout spots)

I ordered two chow mein and didn’t get any mein. Instead I got unseasoned vegetables soaking in water. I called to ask them if they got the wrong order but they told me their chow mein didn’t come with noodles, totally contradicting the name of the dish. The vegetables were so bland and watery that they couldn’t even be eaten!!!

Really terrible! I ordered from Uber Eats for lunch. First, they forgot my salad dressing, and I had to eat a dry salad, I was willing to let that go. Then, as I’m eating the sushi rolls I ordered, I notice there is hardly any fish in them! I Just chopped up bits of fish, mixed with some crunchy stuff! I ordered the Maki roll lunch combo. It was supposed to be spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy California roll. All the rolls looked and tasted the exact same! Couldn’t taste any fish whatsoever. Really bad experience, people must not know quality sushi to give this place a good review. Do yourself a favor and go to Kotobuki on Summer St. for some real authentic sushi! Never again Blue Ginger.
