About Blue Dragon

Blue Dragon is a Chinese Restaurant located at 14520 S Josey Ln, Farmers Branch, TX 75234, USA. You can reach them at (972) 332-5653 or +1 972-332-5653.

According to customer reviews, Blue Dragon offers decent quality Chinese food at mostly reasonable prices, with individual meals costing around $12-14. A notable feature is that they provide a cash discount, encouraging customers to pay with cash instead of credit cards like Visa.

The restaurant itself is situated in a transformed older Taco Bell building, suggesting a simple and perhaps somewhat run-down environment. However, customers highlight that Blue Dragon is a fairly new, family-run business, and they are working hard to succeed. Despite the facility's condition, the food is consistently praised as "very good" and "excellent."

A key feature of Blue Dragon's service is their commitment to freshness. Customers report that the food is made to order, which may result in a 10 to 15-minute cooking time for dinner items. To save time, it is recommended to call ahead and place your order. Additionally, the young lady who takes orders is described as "super sweet," indicating friendly customer service.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, the cash discount can be considered a form of savings for customers who pay with cash. If you value freshly prepared Chinese food and are looking to support a local family business, Blue Dragon in Farmers Branch might be worth a visit, especially if you have cash on hand.

Bring cash! An old Taco Bell has been transformed into a simple Chinese food restaurant, with decent quality food at mostly reasonable prices. They do give a cash discount, so stick it to Visa and bring enough cash for your meals, $12-14 each. Mine came to exactly $14 after tax which was nice.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. The facility is somewhat run down, however it is a fairly new family run business and they are trying to make it work. The food is excellent. If possible call and order ahead as they make everything fresh and a dinner takes 10 or 15 minutes to cook. I will definitely go again. Also, The young lady that takes your order is super sweet.

Absolutely without doubt THE best General Tso's Chicken I have had in Dallas...honestly. And I lived in NYC for 23 years with the best Chinese takeout on the planet and Blue Dragon is 100% in that league. It looks EXACTLY like their pic. It should always be dark and crisp and look like the sauce is shellacked on it like gloss. It is AMAZING !! I will not ever order Chinese food from any other Chinese restaurant in Dallas again. Blue dragon is my new go to absolute 100% favorite Chinese restaurant in the Big D. Here is a hint: if you order general towels, chicken from another restaurant, look at their pic if it is not dark and glossy, do not order it. It should always look like it does at the Blue Dragon. Amazing!!

I discovered this restaurant fewer than 2 weeks ago and have visited it 4 times! The cashier is exceptionally friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The menu selection is large and affordable. The low prices, food quality, and portion sizes are balanced in favor of customers. The fried rice is good. I have enjoyed the honey and orange chicken dinners without spiciness. I also have ordered the sesame and sweet and sour chicken dinners. What's pictured are dinner sized portions of the chicken entrees. This is the only Chinese, Japanese, or Vietnamese restaurant that I have loved in DFW so far.
