Based on the mixed reviews. I wasn't sure how the food would taste. However, I want to let you know that my husband and I had a great experience and delicious food. I had the Crab Cake and Shrimp Combination Platter, and I skipped the soup and salad for the second side, which was broccoli along with my baked potato. My husband had shrimp and T-bone steak with broccoli and a sweet potato. The food was excellent, it was cooked very well the rolls and the cinnamon rolls are great. For dessert, we had a slice of key lime pie, and it was great. We really enjoyed ourselves, and our server Ariel did an excellent job.

The atmosphere here is fantastic—cozy, rustic, and brimming with a charming local vibe. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming the moment you step in. The service is impressively fast, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The food is absolutely top-notch. I had the surf and turf featuring a perfectly cooked New York strip steak paired with flavorful shrimp—it was simply amazing. Every bite was a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the preparation. One unexpected highlight was the salad dressings. They’re not just good; they’re genuinely amazing, elevating even the simplest salads to something memorable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot delivers an exceptional dining experience with its great food, fast service, and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Wow! From 4-6 every day, there is a super value menu. I started off with oysters, not on the special menu but 6 for $9.99, and I’ll say they rivalled the best oysters I’ve ever had while in Skagway Alaska!! The special menu includes rolls, cinnamon buns, salad, fish chowder and a meal that comes with a side. I ordered the grilled fish, haddock that night, and steamed broccoli. I couldn’t finish it all! Price for my meal was $17.99. I highly recommend visiting!!!

An old school vibe with decent sized portions is what we found at Blackbeard's Inn. The Blackened Mahi-mahi dinner and the Sirloin Steak off the EaryBird menu were both pretty good choices and our server Joanne took good care of us.

This place has been here for what seems like forever. I've been coming here for decades. I would never miss a chance to dine here if I were in the area. Vast menu that has something for everyone. Obviously, the seafood is their calling. It's popular so expect a little wait. It's worth it for sure.
