About Bite&tea

Bite&tea is a restaurant located at 123 Farmington Ave, Bristol, CT 06010, USA. They can be contacted at (860) 973-3065 or their mobile number +1 860-973-3065.

Based on customer reviews, Bite&tea is notable for its exceptionally large drink sizes, which some customers found to be unexpectedly massive, with the large size being described as "bigger than my head." One review mentioned ordering online through their preferred website (Meal Kay) and experiencing a very quick preparation time, suggesting drinks might be pre-made or the estimated time was inaccurate. The same review noted that the large drink sizes might result in the drinks being watered down to achieve this volume. Specifically, the matcha was described as watery and lacking a strong taste, and a brown sugar request was missed, resulting in a pudding-like consistency. Boba portions were also reported as inconsistent between medium and large sizes.

Another customer shared a negative experience with the guava green tea with strawberry popping boba, describing it as very sugary, artificial-tasting, and having a plastic-like aftertaste, ultimately not recommending this flavor.

Regarding the food, one review was highly critical, stating the ramen was akin to instant noodles with excessive seasoning and the shrimp were overly spiced, leading to a "disgusting" experience.

The atmosphere of Bite&tea was also commented on, with one reviewer describing the staff as "jumping and dancing around the place," including in the kitchen, wearing headphones, and shouting song lyrics. This was part of a deeply regretted dining experience where the customer would not recommend the restaurant for those seeking good food.

For local users in Singapore seeking information about a restaurant categorized under a Chinese Restaurant platform, Bite&tea in Bristol, CT, USA, appears to offer a diverse menu that includes bubble tea and at least one ramen dish. However, based on recent online reviews, potential customers should be aware of reported issues with the quality and taste of both the drinks and the food, as well as an unusual and potentially disruptive atmosphere. The extremely large drink sizes are a notable feature, but some customers have found this to compromise the drink's quality. There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews.

These sizes are massive. I ordered on their preferred website (meal kay via the direct link on their website) it said it would be ready in 30mins and I got a text to pick it up in 2 minutes after placing my order. I was not 2 minites away. Obviously the sizes are massive and as you can guess watered down to achieve this big size. I wish it was noted on the ordering because I ordered two drinks and definitely can not finish either. The matcha doesn't taste the best, very watery and not a strong taste. I did pay for brown sugar and was given regular. It's very soft like pudding. The boba portions are off as my medium matcha has more than the large (more like six flags large haha) guava green tea. After arriving there was someone sleeping under a jacket behind the counter so I had to wait a couple minites before someone appeared and then that same person who was resting handed me my drinks. I am definitely open to trying this place in the future but I would advise against ordering online and unless you're preparing for the whole day, I wouldn't get the large regularly. It's hard to tell but the large is literally bigger than my head which is great but unexpected to see. It's good to know someone has this option. It'd be nice if you could add another scoop of boba or other syrups etc. Update I started the guava green tea w strawberry popping boba: it tastes very sugary even with 50٪ and artifical only the after taste tastes like guava. It kinda reminds me of plastic for some reason. I definately wouldn't recommend this flavor

The food at the restaurant was disgusting. I ordered ramen, but they brought me Maruchan with way too many seasonings. The shrimp were covered in a thick layer of various spices that ruined the taste. As for the atmosphere: the staff was jumping and dancing around the place, and even in the kitchen, they were wearing headphones and shouting out song lyrics. I deeply regret the money I spent here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a place to enjoy good food.

Any new and different cuisine we're always welcome and eager to try! However, if you expect the food to be downright authentic it is not. Having said that, the food is not bad - the minced braised pork is on the sweeter side, and the beef noodles the saltier side. What was good was the bubble tea. The bubbles have that perfect chewy Q, if you know what I mean.

I drove by one day after work and said hey why not, placed an order online and was I not disappointed. The order was prepared so fast, its amazing. They are faster than me driving there to.pick up my order. Haha. They're a super friendly, professional and clean business and staff with so many options of delicious food and drinks not to mention their beverage sizes are tall and beautiful. No. Goegeous. Like art. The best around & You can seriously customize your order dowm to the sweetness, toppings and ice levels.I usually order the kiwi fruit tea with kiwi poppers 70% sweet and with less ice, I am addicted and hope bite & tea is here for good and or opening a location in plainville or on my Street. Haha. Thank you Bite&Tea!!

I absolutely love this place!! I went once and was instantly hooked on there tea's!! Taro is my absolute favorite by far! With Bobo! I've tried Mango, Matcha, Taro, then regular tea I tried strawberry tea. They're all delicious in there own way. But I'm hooked on Taro!! It's light, smooth, creamy flavor with the Bobo is just amazing!! Oh customer service is incredible!! They are all extremely kind and work very hard!! Great place to binge on!! I only wish there was one closer to where I live!! They should definitely open up more stores!! Food: I haven't tried anything else yet, but my son says that milk biscuits and red bean biscuits are very good. They are like a dessert. Anyways I give this place a 10 out of 10 for sure!! 😁👍🏻💜
