A Maplewood Gem: Bill & Harry's Chinese Restaurant As a longtime Maplewood resident, I've been enjoying Bill & Harry's since childhood, and it never disappoints. This family-owned restaurant has been serving authentic Chinese cuisine for years, maintaining excellent quality and warm hospitality. The owners' dedication is evident in every visit. Their genuine kindness creates a welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals coming back. It's a joy to see my own children now sharing my enthusiasm for Bill & Harry's. The menu offers delicious, generously portioned dishes that always hit the spot. Bill & Harry's isn't just a restaurant; it's a cherished part of Maplewood's community. For anyone craving delicious Chinese fare in a friendly setting, I highly recommend giving Bill & Harry's a try. It's a local tradition that stands the test of time.

Quintessential Chinese food. The classics done right!

Lady behind counter was not friendly and food was not so great - ended up donating the food. Ordered steamed veg dumplings and they were just doughy with very little vegetables. The string beans were just steamed with no taste. One person working - lady took order in unfriendly fashion -same lady cooked food quickly and delivered to me in the restaurant for take out. Not sure how the bhuddist delight turned up because got it for someone else. Also if I order two dishes - don’t combine my white rice in one container thinking it’s going to the same place - separate it by order - don’t be cheap on containers. Did not put napkins or forks in bag until I asked and did not have plates. Will not be going back. Spent $35.03 as a donation I guess. I should have known something was wrong by the name - I did not see a bill or harry. Lol. Good luck folks!!

Menu price of the food I ordered was $62 and change. The charge that appeared on my credit card was $79 and change. These people will never extract another nickel from me.

Bill and Harry’s has a special place in my heart. I grew up eating their take out. The sesame beef and sesame chicken are still some of my favorite dishes ever. Everything else I’ve had there has been excellent as well. I recommend any of the dishes with peanuts or cashews. Growing up as one of the few Asian Americans in town, Bill and Harry’s always felt and still feels like family. I’m so glad it’s still there. Here’s to many more years of business!
