Big Fred's Pizza Garden & Lounge

The food is okay, but the service was awesome. Our waitress/server was, I believe, Heather? She was so nice, patient, and accommodating.

This has been a place to go too growing up for me and my family . My mom and I came to dinner around 7:45 place was not too busy . We order chicken tenders that we usually split we waited over 20 minutes for our food and when it arrived, it was cold when we told the manager and staff they acted like they could’ve cared less and then they offered to make us another meal which we would’ve ended up waiting 20 more minutes. I truly don’t know why we keep coming back because the service and food has truly gone down hill . Staff always seems to be more of a social event than working . Don’t recommend anyone .

The hostess set us quickly. This is very nostalgic I haven't been here in a couple decades Clean well laid out restaurant.. Waitress is good.. Appetizers onion ring, fantastic perfect crisp with chew, hand breaded deliciousness... garlic cheesy bread, perfect, we've had this that many restaurants this is probably the best. Entrees Pork cutlet, decent... Chili, perfect. It does have a very rich meat flavor, the tomato flavor sits heavy at the back of the tongue, but this is exactly how I like it. If you enjoy a strong proper chili, you will love this. Fries, good fries.. Fettuccine with sugo and alfredo with breaded chicken 12" big Fred with hamburger. Very good, perfect amount of crisp and chew. As always, check my video uploads..

Just completely unimpressed. What's the hype? Went here for a work lunch and ordered meatball sub/onion rings. I am not a picky eater at all, but the meat grossed me out. It looked like and texture was like cat food from a can. Bread wasn't fresh, there was minimal sauce, so I had to add some that came from our cheese bread appetizer. Way too much cheese, onion rings were okay. Not worth it to me- nothing special about it at all.

Big Fred's has been a great staple to Omaha for years and we have had the privilege of partnering with them for a few events! The food is always fantastic and the staff are great! Our most recent visit to Big Fred's was after an all day event when our event staff went for pizza to celebrate the completion of a busy weekend and the food hit the spot perfectly!
