Big Buddha Restaurant

Based on the other reviews, we either visited on an off night, or have entirely different taste buds than the other reviewers. There was a 40 minute wait; so the hostess was suggesting take out to everyone who came in. We decided to do that. The orange chicken’s flavor was great but the chicken was so rubbery we couldn’t eat it. The fried rice was so incredibly over oiled it was just complete grease. We ended up tossing all $56 worth of food and cooking at home. We were so looking forward to this based on the reviews so I hope it may have had something to do with how busy they were and isn’t the norm.

Just ordered take out. I got the shrimp fried rice, hot and sour soup and egg rolls. Super disappointed with the egg rolls! They seem to have been double fried as if they were laying around for a while and they decided to refry them (see photo). They were so hard and burned! I had to toss them as they were disgusting. The soup was ok. Not spicy at all. The shrimp fried rice was hot and fresh. The shrimp weren’t rubbery or overcooked. Very disappointed because I’ve heard good things about this place.

Very good food with large portions! The only disappointment was the House Chicken - General Tsos Chicken. General Tsos is a tough dish because every restaurant does it very differently, but this one was just too peppery and in a bland brown sauce. That said, the spring roll, soups, crab wontons, and the sweet and sour chicken were delicious. We would definitely return for those! Out waiter was also quick and welcoming. We had a great experience.

I cannot stress enough… GO TRY THE RESTAURANT!! From the atmosphere, to the impeccable service, to the DELICIOUS food. I cannot say enough about this place. We’ve been 4 times in a month (1 Uber eats delivery and even then the presentation was awesome!) because all the things previously mentioned. We try at least one new thing every time we go and it hasn’t disappointed once! Melissa, Uncle, and Sam are amazing! However, everyone who works there all have been so incredibly nice but I don’t remember everyone’s names YET. The WONTON SOUP was described as a warm hug to me and i couldn’t agree more! The ORANGE PEEL CHICKEN is the best I’ve ever had. The SINGAPORE RICE NOODLE is one of my personal faves! I will list everything we’ve tried and loved! Twice Cooked Pork, Taiwanese style beef, Egg foo young, Vegetable Lo Mein, Kung Pao Delight, Mongolian Beef. You can not go wrong! Hope you love it as much as we do ❤️

This place is amazing. My husband and I come about twice a week, always trying something different. Food is amazing 👏
