About Bi Kitchen

Bi Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant located at RR 22, Dover Plains, NY 12522, USA, offering carry-out service. Based on recent customer reviews, there are some points to consider for local users.

One customer shared an experience regarding the customer service during order pickup. They described an interaction with a staff member at the counter who did not offer a greeting or verbal acknowledgement, leading to an uncomfortable exchange. This customer expressed disappointment with the lack of basic customer service skills observed.

Another review focused on the quality of a specific menu item, the fried chicken wings. This customer reported that the wings are frequently overcooked, appearing as if they may have been reheated multiple times. While they mentioned requesting that the wings not be cooked for too long when placing orders, with a "not well done" instruction on the receipt, the issue seems to persist. The reviewer also noted that the price of $7.00 for four wings is high, especially when not cooked to satisfaction.

In summary, based on the available recent feedback, potential customers of Bi Kitchen may want to be aware of reported issues concerning customer interaction during carry-out and the consistency in the preparation of certain dishes, specifically the fried chicken wings. For placing orders or inquiries, Bi Kitchen can be contacted at (845) 877-3839 or +1 845-877-3839.

My wife and I were visiting Dover Plains when she decided to place a carry out order from this restaurant. As I go in to pick up the order, I see a gentlemen in from of me picking up his order. Once he was done, I approach the counter where I encounter a young girl who just stares at me without uttering a single word. Meanwhile, I am staring back at her expecting some sort of greeting or acknowledgement. When none was forthcoming, I finally say, “I was waiting on you to say something” as she continues to stare at me. I finally say I am here to pick up my order. Once she confirms my order, I ask “are you ok?” She responds “yeah” and gives me the order total. Once she makes my change, she walks back into the kitchen. I understand finding good help is problematic, but basic customer service skills should be a requirement for anyone in a customer facing role. At least it is in my business. Without even taking into account the food, I won’t be going back to this business.

the only complaint i have is that the fried chicken wings are 90% of the time fried too hard . they look like they may have been reheated several times. when i call in to order my food i ask them for my wings not to be cooked too long . on the receipt is the instructions “not well done”. $7.00 for 4 wings is too much money especially if it’s not cooked right

For the price point (which seems identical to Amenia's Yi Kitchen, in FreshTown Plaza), the food is great (five stars easily!). My only complaint is the premises. You know that something is off when the cashier -- working directly next to the stove -- greets you wearing a winter coat! The windows' scant insulation let in Arctic drafts, as did the door. The space heater is merely a prop! There is a gumball vending machine, which lets you play pinball with your gumballs as they drop down for your quarter. The cashier speaks good English, and is passably helpful. Ample parking in the lot out front. Seating for up to ten people (if not too cramped). No wi-fi.

I’ve been a long standing believer that if the dining area is too cold in the winter or too hot in the summer, and everything feels a little greasy, that you are gonna get great Chinese food. This place mostly delivers on that. It’s not the best Chinese I have ever had, but they make dumplings just the way I like them, the egg rolls are delicious and the general tso’s chicken is good enough that I order it most of the time. No complaints.
