Best Hunan

A humble location inside of a winding strip mall of sorts, this place caught me off guard in the best way possible. A simple interior, a few dining tables and a basic takeout area. I am not here to review the atmosphere, which I think is also perfectly acceptable for a Chinese takeout spot, and people should reconsider insulting the interior in these reviews. Anyway, I say all this to say, the general tsos chicken (a dish you should probably use as your litmus test for an American Chinese spot) was some of the best I have had in YEARS. I frequently gulp this dish down, often times visiting a different spot. The chicken here was plump, juicy, perfectly crispy yet delicate, and the sauce was an amazing ratio of sweetness, umami, appropriate viscosity, and just enough spice to remind me what I'm eating. I am so thrilled that this is essentially in my back yard. I will be eagerly returning with hungry friends of mine!!!!

Awful! My wife ordered take out here the other night. The chicken was over cooked and tasteless. The vegetables were over cooked as well. Take out should not be this bad. Especially since it was over $30. Not worth it.

First time ordering from here. I had a big order and I was pleased. It was ready to pick up on time and everything was labeled. Food was very good; everyone enjoyed it. Great choices for vegetarians.

Worse Chinese food I’ve had in forever. This was just bad. It tasted like the chef opened a can black pepper and threw the entire bottle in the rice. AVOID AT ALL COST

Was AWFUL The place was a mess inside - table on top of table with cardboard boxes everywhere No customers Restrooms were CLOSED - otherwise not working - there was no discount for that.inconvenience. The food was awful - we left half our orders. Never again. Surprised HC Food Insiection have not closed them down.
