Beijing Station is a Chinese restaurant situated at 104 14th St NW in Charlottesville, VA. They can be reached at (434) 234-3877 or via their mobile number, +1 434-234-3877. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, Beijing Station likely offers a range of classic and perhaps some unique Chinese dishes to cater to the tastes of the Charlottesville community.
When choosing a Chinese restaurant, factors such as food quality, price point, service, and ambiance often play significant roles in the decision-making process. Online reviews can offer valuable insights into these aspects, providing potential customers with a glimpse into the experiences of others who have dined at the establishment.
Based on the limited online feedback available, Beijing Station appears to be receiving positive remarks regarding its food and affordability. One customer enthusiastically described the food as "delicious" and noted it as the "most affordable place" they had visited since 2020. This reviewer specifically praised the Singapore rice noodles (prepared extra spicy), dumplings, and cold noodle sweet & spicy, stating they were perfectly spiced and filling, expressing a definite intention to order them again on a future visit. They also highlighted the "very low" prices and, despite describing the atmosphere as "like cafeteria," emphasized that the food was "filling and very good." This positive experience led them to recommend Beijing Station, particularly for those on a budget, and affirmed their plan to return.
Another reviewer echoed the sentiment about the friendly staff. However, they offered a more mixed opinion regarding the "Lumb noodles," suggesting it was "not a good deal." This customer indicated a willingness to try other meals on a subsequent visit, implying that while one dish may not have met their expectations, they were still open to exploring other offerings at Beijing Station.
From these initial reviews, several key aspects of Beijing Station emerge. The restaurant is being recognized for its delicious and affordable food, which could be a significant draw for budget-conscious diners in Charlottesville. The positive mention of specific dishes like the Singapore rice noodles, dumplings, and cold noodle sweet & spicy suggests these might be popular and well-executed options on their menu. The description of the atmosphere as "like cafeteria" indicates a more casual and perhaps less formal dining environment, which aligns with the emphasis on affordability. The consistently praised friendly staff contributes positively to the overall customer experience.
The single critique regarding the "Lumb noodles" serves as a reminder that individual preferences vary, and not every dish may appeal to every customer. However, the reviewer's willingness to try other meals suggests that they found other aspects of Beijing Station appealing enough to warrant a return visit.
As a platform highlighting Chinese Restaurants in the area, Beijing Station presents itself as an option that prioritizes both the quality of its food and its accessibility in terms of price. For local users in Charlottesville seeking a satisfying Chinese meal without breaking the bank, Beijing Station appears to be a noteworthy contender. The positive feedback on specific dishes and the friendly service further enhance its appeal.
While the reviews provide a positive initial impression, potential customers might still want to consider their own preferences regarding dining atmosphere. If a casual, cafeteria-style setting is acceptable in exchange for delicious and affordable food, then Beijing Station could be a suitable choice. Those seeking a more formal or elaborate ambiance might need to weigh this factor against the reported quality and value of the food.
Given the limited number of reviews available at this time, it would be beneficial for prospective diners to look for any more recent feedback or perhaps try a few of the highly recommended dishes to form their own opinion. The combination of tasty food and budget-friendly prices, coupled with friendly service, positions Beijing Station as a potentially valuable addition to the Chinese culinary scene in Charlottesville.
For local users seeking a Chinese restaurant that offers good value for money without compromising on flavor, Beijing Station warrants consideration. The positive reviews regarding food quality and affordability suggest a focus on providing satisfying meals at accessible prices. As more feedback becomes available, a clearer and more comprehensive picture of the overall dining experience at Beijing Station will continue to emerge, further assisting local users in their dining choices.

The food is delicious and this is the most affordable place I've visited since 2020. Singapore rice noodles extra spicy (out choice to make it spicy) was perfectly spiced. Dumplings and cold noodle sweet& spicy was perfect amount, filled me up and I would get it again next time! Prices are very low, atmosphere is like cafeteria but the food is filling and very good. I would definitely recommend and if I was living on a budget here, I would eat here daily. I'll be back for certain next time I'm in town.
Staffs are very friendly. However, the Lumb noodles wasn't a good deal. I would try other meals if I had lunch here another time.
Better off with a microwave meal from Trader Joe’s. The “sesame noodles” were literally overcooked spaghetti noodles tossed in some kind of clear sugary syrup?- bizarre. No sesame flavor whatsoever and the noodles were soggy. Really terrible, embarrassing for this to even be on the menu. The mapo tofu was a joke. Unseasoned tofu chunks in a very watery flat red broth, more like a bowl of soup than anything. With literal chunks of sausage—not the finely ground meat and multidimensional flavor this dish usually provides. This was at 7 PM on a Thursday. I would highly recommend passing this spot by and going to one of the many other delightful eateries nearby.
It’s a pity that they don’t serve Chinese crepes anymore. New item on the menu, chicken cold noodles, is spicy and I like it. Noodle with bean paste is okay, the sauce is good but the noodles are too soft.
Very convenient and MUCH better than a typical “quick serve Chinese” restaurant! They have a pan-Asian menu of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Viet inspired items. Really interesting specials occasionally come on the menu!
