About Beijing Hunan

Beijing Hunan is a Chinese restaurant in Singapore that specializes in offering a combination of cuisines from two distinct regions of China: Beijing and Hunan. As a Chinese Restaurant, Beijing Hunan provides local users with the opportunity to experience the diverse flavors and culinary techniques characteristic of both Northern (Beijing) and Central (Hunan) Chinese cooking.

Information regarding the specific environment, services, features, and promotional information of Beijing Hunan is not provided in the given information. Services generally include dine-in options, and depending on their operational scope, they may also offer takeaway and delivery services to cater to different needs.

The unique feature of Beijing Hunan lies in its dual regional focus, suggesting a menu that likely includes well-known dishes from Beijing, such as Peking Duck or Jiaozi (dumplings), alongside the bold and often spicy flavors of Hunan cuisine, known for its use of chili peppers, garlic, and fermented ingredients. This combination offers a broader culinary palette compared to restaurants specializing in a single regional style.

Ordered online. Website says they open at 11. Pick up time was 11:20. Got there at 11:25 and saw they don’t open until 11:30. None of the cuts on the sashimi are even and they sliced it all like steak. The fish tastes like it was previously frozen and is very fishy with a weird texture. Given complimentary noodles but they were stale and inedible. Rice was overcooked. Spent $25 on a sushi platter and couldn’t eat any of it.

Obsessed with this place! The owners work so hard and the food has always been exceptional. Go-to take out place for the last 10 years! My favorites: Hot & Spicy Shrimp/Mongolian Beef/Wonton Soup/Spring Rolls

Options for vegetarians. Meat-alternatives. Overall, plenty of menu choices. Kids are picky, but all chowed down on the lo-mein, rice and spring rolls.

We ordered the general tso's house combination, salmon sushi/sashimi, egg drop soup and beef teriyaki. The general tsos chicken was alright, it was nice and crispy but not at all spicy. The broccoli was not cooked and had no sauce on it. The fried rice was really good though! The fried shrimp that came with the combo were also good, the egg roll was nice and crispy and the chicken teriyaki skewers were also decent but the beef teriyaki skewers were better. The egg drop soup had deep egg and chicken flavor with turmeric. Now the bad - the sushi was some of the worst I've had quality wise. The salmon had no shine to it, and was very stiff and stringy. I've had grocery store sushi that was better quality than this. It had little taste to it and required sauce to make it sort of okay. Very disappointing. I would highly recommend this place for the Chinese menu but would strongly suggest staying away from the sushi. As you could find better quality sushi at other restaurants in the area for a similar price.

Mouse droppings were found along the floor/wall junctures, under equipment, and inside boxes containing food (food was discarded). Food was found uncovered in the food storage area. Grease and food debris was found on equipment and floor surfaces.
