About Beijing House Restaurant

For local users in US researching Chinese restaurants, let's examine Beijing House Restaurant, located at 11403 O'Connor Rd Ste-101, San Antonio, TX 78233, USA, based on recent online feedback. This restaurant offers a range of Chinese dishes, but customer experiences appear to be varied.

One customer reported a positive experience with the large wonton soup, noting the generous portion size and the "really good" broth, although the wontons themselves were not consumed due to a dietary restriction. This suggests that some of their soup offerings may be well-received. The same reviewer also enjoyed the mango bubble tea and found the General Tso's chicken to be "good," albeit noting that this dish can vary between restaurants. They appreciated the crispy exterior of the spring rolls but found the inside slightly undercooked. The fried rice was described as "a bit bland." Overall, this review indicates a somewhat average experience with certain highlights like the soup and bubble tea.

In stark contrast, another reviewer reported an extremely negative experience, describing the services as "abysmal," the employees as "horrid," and the food as "even worse." This customer claimed the food was "inedible" and that they were refused a refund. They suggested that a good experience might be possible on a "good day" but otherwise warned of the "worst food you've ever eaten." This review raises significant concerns about the consistency of food quality and the level of customer service at Beijing House Restaurant.

Based on these recent and contrasting reviews, it is difficult to ascertain definitive information about the restaurant's environment or any specific features. No promotional information is mentioned. The services appear to include dine-in or takeout, but the quality of service is a point of contention. The features of the restaurant are the variety of standard Chinese-American dishes offered, such as wonton soup, spring rolls, General Tso's chicken, and fried rice, as well as beverages like mango bubble tea. However, the quality and consistency of these items seem to be inconsistent based on the provided feedback.

For local users in US, the reviews for Beijing House Restaurant highlight the importance of considering a range of feedback when evaluating a restaurant. The significant disparity between the two recent reviews suggests potential issues with consistency in food quality and service. It would be prudent to seek out more consistent and positive reviews before considering this establishment.

My spouse is on a clear liquid diet for a couple of days, so here we are. My spouse got the large wonton soup. It was a huge bowl. The wontons went to waste, but the broth was really good. I had the spring rolls, mango bubble, and General Tso's with hot and sour soup. The spring rolls were nice and crispy on the outside but not quite done on the inside for me. General Tso's was good, but from one restaurant to another, it's different. The rice was a bit bland for fried rice. I did love the soup. I haven't had a lot of Chinese food since moving to Texas, and it was a nice change.

Abysmal services, horrid employees, even worse food. If you can catch some on a good day, then MAYBRZ IT WILL BE GOOD. but if you don't then expect the worst food you've ever eaten your life- IF YOU CAN EVEN EAT IT! I'm not joking the food was inedible AND THERE WAS NO REFUNDS!!! worst ever and that's no lie. They had excuse after excuse but no results. pathetic!!

We did takeout from here last night. My Hubby had the Shrimp and Garlic sauce with white rice and egg rolls. He said it was very good and would order it again. I had the Scallion Chicken with mild spice, white rice and egg rolls. I thought it was just ok. We also ordered the Combination Egg Fu Yung and Crab Rangoon. The order was ready in 15 minutes and the food was hot. Hubby said he would definitely return again and would certainly recommend.

Stopped in for an early lunch and got my food pretty quick. The food was good, and they also have a variety of Boba teas as well. Atmosphere was very clean and tucked into this shopping center right off of O'Connor rd.

Solid food! Everything was so good. Fried rice could use a bit more flavor but all the dishes were great. Big portions. Great service. Didn’t have to ask for anything. We were checked on frequently. First time here and we will come back!
