About Beijing Express

Welcome to Beijing Express, your local Chinese restaurant conveniently located at 311 W Edinburg Ave in Elsa, Texas. As a Chinese restaurant serving the Elsa community, Beijing Express aims to provide a variety of flavorful Chinese dishes for takeout, and based on one customer's experience, they also offer a drive-through option for convenient pickup. This accessibility makes it a potential choice for those looking for a quick and easy meal without leaving their vehicle.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, the experiences at Beijing Express appear to be somewhat contrasting. One review expresses frustration with the restaurant's inability to answer the phone shortly after opening for a pickup order. This could indicate potential issues with staffing during busy hours or perhaps a temporary oversight. However, it does highlight the importance of efficient phone service for customers looking to place orders remotely.

On a more positive note, another customer shared a consistent and favorable experience with Beijing Express. This long-term customer, who visits approximately once a month, primarily utilizes the drive-through service for pickup. Their consistent order is the "Kung Pao deluxe," which they describe as a combination of shrimp, beef, and chicken along with various vegetables and a sauce. This customer also mentions the option to choose between rice or lo mein, and they consistently opt for the fried rice, which they find "pretty good." This positive review suggests that Beijing Express has the potential to deliver satisfying meals, particularly the Kung Pao deluxe with fried rice, and offers the convenience of a drive-through for pickups.

The "Kung Pao deluxe" seems to be a standout dish for at least one regular customer. The combination of three different proteins (shrimp, beef, and chicken) along with vegetables and a sauce suggests a hearty and flavorful option. The flexibility of choosing between rice and lo mein allows customers to tailor their meal to their preference. The reviewer's consistent choice of fried rice and their positive description of it indicate that this side dish is also a reliable option at Beijing Express.

The fact that a customer has been ordering from Beijing Express roughly once a month suggests a level of satisfaction and consistency in the quality of the food they typically order. This repeat business is often a good indicator of a restaurant's ability to meet customer expectations on a regular basis, at least for specific dishes.

However, the earlier negative comment about the unanswered phone call shortly after opening should also be considered. Prompt and efficient service, especially for takeout orders, is crucial for customer satisfaction. An inability to answer the phone can lead to lost business and frustration for potential customers. It is important for Beijing Express to ensure they have adequate staffing or systems in place to handle phone orders efficiently, particularly during their opening hours.

Considering the limited information available, it's difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment or dine-in services at Beijing Express. One customer mentions having been inside, but the focus of their review is on the drive-through pickup experience. Therefore, local users seeking information about the restaurant's ambiance or the quality of their dine-in service may need to visit the location or look for additional reviews online.

Similarly, there is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided text. It would be beneficial for Beijing Express to consider offering promotions or special deals to attract new customers and reward loyal ones. Local users interested in potential discounts or special offers should inquire directly with the restaurant by calling them at (956) 262-9334 or +1 956-262-9334.

In conclusion, Beijing Express in Elsa, TX, appears to be a local Chinese restaurant that offers both takeout and a convenient drive-through pickup service. While there is a concerning report of an unanswered phone call, a regular customer speaks highly of their Kung Pao deluxe with fried rice, suggesting that the restaurant has the potential to provide satisfying meals for those who find dishes they enjoy. For local users in Elsa, trying Beijing Express might be worthwhile, especially if you are looking for a quick takeout option with the convenience of a drive-through. If you are interested in specific dishes like the Kung Pao deluxe, the positive review offers some reassurance. However, it might be prudent to call ahead to place your order and ensure a smooth pickup experience. As more reviews become available, a clearer picture of the overall quality and service at Beijing Express will emerge.

I’ve been inside for a while I mostly order pick up through the drive-through. The food is great and I almost get it once a month I also always get the same thing the Kung Powell deluxe. It has shrimp beef and chicken some other vegetables and some sauce also you can pick from rice or lo mein I always get the fried rice it’s pretty good. So if you’re thinking about getting some food somewhere and you’re thinking about getting from this place go ahead and try them out it’s good.
