One customer who has been visiting "off and on for the last 11 years" describes the food as "amazing" with only one past visit where the food wasn't as good. They emphasize that it's "amazing for the price and always fresh" and "100% going thru the drive thru recommended." They acknowledge that "The building is old and you can definitely tell that on the inside" but state they've "never had any concern on food safety" and find it "Definitely worth it here."

Another customer found the "Food here is decent." They noted that the "Chicken is cooked perfectly" but wished "the rice had more flavor other than soy sauce." On a positive note, they found the "Egg roll is delicious and isn't greasy."

Based on these reviews, Beijing Express in San Antonio, TX, offers food that is considered amazing and consistently fresh by a long-term customer, especially for its price. The drive-thru service is highly recommended. While the building and interior are old, food safety has not been a concern. Another customer found the food decent with perfectly cooked chicken but suggested the rice could be more flavorful. The egg roll is highlighted as delicious and not greasy. Local users looking for affordable and fresh Chinese food, particularly through the drive-thru, might find Beijing Express a worthwhile option, keeping in mind the older building.

The environment is described as an old building with an old interior. Services include drive-thru (highly recommended) and likely dine-in (given the mention of the interior). Key features include amazing and fresh food at a great price (according to a long-term customer), perfectly cooked chicken, and a delicious, non-greasy egg roll. A potential drawback is the lack of flavor in the rice beyond soy sauce. No specific promotional information is available in the provided text.

I've been coming here off and on for the last 11 years. It's amazing food and have only had 1 visit in the past where the food didn't taste as good. It's amazing for the price and always fresh. 100% going thru the drive thru recommended. The building is old and you can definitely tell that on the inside. But I've never had any concern on food safety. Definitely worth it here.

Food here is decent. Chicken is cooked perfectly but wish the rice had more flavor other than soy sauce. Egg roll is delicious and isn't greasy.

Went last night and had no complaints! Drive thru waiting wasn't too bad, I'd say average. My favorite dish is the pepper steak and it did not disappoint 😋. I always ask for steamed rice and extra spicy 🌶. Usually it's never spicy enough even when I ask for extra spice, but it had me sweating. It had a good portion of veggies(bell peppers/onions) and the egg rolls were crunchy. I also got the combination fried rice, which was delicious. I know everyone has their opinions about the food, but mine was a positive one! I would definitely come back.

Had food delivered from Uber eats on Christmas Day and it was the worst Chinese food I can recall having. I ordered sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken and some rangoons. The rangoons hardly had any filling and there was not enough sweet-and-sour sauce for the pork and the rangoons. The rangoons, the pork, the chicken, and the rice all tasted very old. I’m the type of person to never throw food away, especially Chinese food, but this food experience was terrible so a lot of my food was trashed. If I could rate this zero stars, I would have.
