Beijing Chinese Restaurant is noted for its "really lovely place" with "decently affordable lunch specials." The lunch specials are served with "fast and excellent service" and include a choice of crab rangoons or spring rolls, as well as fried or steamed rice and hot and sour soup.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is described as "nice, above average for a traditional Chinese restaurant," and the service is generally "efficient," even when the dining room is crowded.
While one customer found the mai tai to be "just ok" and the crab rangoon appetizer "minimally stuffed and not very good," the dinner experience was more positive. The half peking duck was well-received for its "excellent" meat and "fresh" vegetables, although the pancakes were noted to be more like tortillas than traditional peking pancakes. A standout dish was the "amazing" spicy sautéed cabbage, which was highly recommended, especially as a complement to the duck.

A really lovely place with decently affordable lunch specials. Fast and excellent service. Lunch special came with choice of crab rangoons or spring rolls as well as fried or steamed rice and hot and sour soup.
If there were half stars, I’d probably give a 3.5, but I’m rounding up to 4 because I would go back for sure. I started with a mai tai which was just ok. They don’t have a lot of tiki cocktails on the menu but maybe they can make the basics. I’ll try something else next time. For an appetizer we got crab Rangoon. It was minimally stuffed and not very good. It should be avoided. Dinner was much better. The half peking duck was good. The meat was excellent and the veggies were fresh, though the pancakes were more like a tortilla than a traditional peking pancake. The spicy sautéed cabbage was amazing. I highly recommend the cabbage, particularly with the duck. The service was efficient even though the dining room was pretty crowded. The atmosphere is nice, above average for a traditional Chinese restaurant. Bottom line: I’m looking for a Chinese restaurant near by to be my go to. I’m not sure this is it, but I would go back again.
I ordered online from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The vegetable fried rice was just okay — nothing special, but edible. However, the spicy chicken wings were awful. They were so salty that they were completely inedible, and I couldn’t even finish one. If I could give this place a zero, I definitely would. I won’t be ordering from here again.
Visited at dinner time, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the dining environment is quiet. We had lobster, string beans as well as Peking duck, pork burritos. The food was delicious, but the waiter was nowhere to be seen.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. We were both unimpressed across the board. Flavors were good , portions were average but they are priced at the higher end of average for Chinese. Wait staff had difficulty seating us and order taker seemed to trying to upsell us at every selection, looking to get us to order more items even though 2 of us ordered a large main dish and 2 orders of rice already. Once food arrived ( very hot , so that was a plus) no one ever returned and we had to flag down someone to get our check to cash out, some 15 minutes after we had obviously finished our meal. There were only 2 tables with customers so its not like they were slammed. Unlikely to return here as there are literally hundreds of other choices within a short radius of here.
