Customer reviews regarding Beijin Palace present a range of experiences. A recent review from November 1, 2024, noted that the chicken fried rice was flavorful and sweet, and the sweet and sour soup was delicious. The reviewer mentioned that the sauce used for the fried rice was different from what they were used to, which might not appeal to everyone, and they were told that the beef fried rice is good, expressing intent to try it next time. This review also reiterated that there is no seating, and it is a takeout-only service.

However, older reviews from around 2018 express significant dissatisfaction. One customer described the orange chicken as "disgusting" and stated that their lo mein and fried rice were flavorless, also noting slow service. Another review was highly critical, stating it was "awful." This customer reported that the crab rangoons tasted like they were fried in old oil and had a tangy filling, the sesame chicken had lettuce at the bottom, the chicken and broccoli was rubbery, and the lo mein tasted burnt. This reviewer mentioned that three people tried the food, and they ended up throwing it out.

Given these contrasting reviews, it appears that recent experiences might be more positive for some dishes like the chicken fried rice and sweet and sour soup. However, past experiences indicate potential issues with other dishes and overall quality. Beijin Palace operates as a takeout-only restaurant.

11/1/24- decided to give this place another try chicken fried rice was flavorful and sweet and sour soup was delicious. Sauce used for fried rice is different than what I’ve usually seen so it might not be for everyone. I’ve been told the beef fried rice is really good. Will try it next time. No seating, Take out only. 2018- We have been to this place twice and recently ordered take out because we didn't want to drive to Niles. Disgusting orange chicken. Nothing has changed, this place is awful. I have no idea how they are still in business. Their lo mein, fried rice are flavorless and their service is slow.

I would give it a zero if I could. It was awful. The crab ragoons were fried in old oil and the inside tasted tangy, the sesame chicken had lettuce in the bottom, the chicken and broccoli was rubbery, and the lo mein tasted burnt. Three people tried each dish and we threw it right out.

Ordered sweet n sour tofu. Fried rice. Veggie spring roll. It was all good 👍 The only thing is that it takes them some time because they are older people 68 and up.

I'm not really sure why the ratings swing so much. Most people give either 1 star or 5. I am genuinely surprised that anyone could give this place more than 3 stars. The vegetables are NOT stir-fried but boiled and then placed in a "sauce" that is gelatinous. I think it was salt, water, and corn starch but can't be sure. Utterly disgusting. The sweet and sour Tofu was swimming in a red sauce that was nothing like any sweet n sour I've had before and not in a good way. The tofu itself was not cooked nicely so it was kinda rubbery. It also taked of old vegetable oil. The chicken fried rice has no egg and the chicken was cut up so small that first we thought that they had left out the chicken and it was the egg we were seeing. It was just opposite I'm fact. The sauce they cooked the rice in was mostly just dark soy sauce so the fried rice was almost black in color and very salty. Again, nothing like any other fried rice I'd ever seen. The service was rude on both phone and in person. I'm giving it 2 stars because it was cheap and most it was eaten. We didn't get sick from it (as one reviewer said they did). I'm probably being generous with the 2 stars... It's cheap but it's still a waste of money. P.S. take out only. Dine in not offered.

I ordered the Sweet & Sour Tofu vegetarian dish. It was a pleasant combination of pineapple, tomatoes, and bell peppers in a tangy sauce that was a little more on the sweet side. The tofu was just crispy enough to still be soft. The staff was nice, and they have a pleasant seating setup. This was my first visit, and I would go again. The only thing I’d like is if the portions were somewhat more generous for the price.
