BD's Mongolian Grill

This was my first time going and it was great, I am visiting a friend from out of town and we don't have these type of places where I'm from. The food was fresh and tasted wonderful. I Will definitely be visiting again.

Came here Wednesday night, and was thrilled with every aspect. My server, Lydia, was absolutely amazing. Very helpful, and quick service. The food was amazing and very reasonable priced, and the cooks sang a little song in thankful a tip - make sure you bring some cash to tip them too! I just recently started traveling to Columbus for work weekly, and I'll be sure to make this place a return spot.

Met up at BD’s for dinner! Yum! If you have never been, please try it! You get a bowl to fill up with meat and veggies, spices and sauces, and add an egg if you want. Once you have piled it high (think volcano) you take it to the grill. They will bring you a choice of steamed white or brown or fried rice ( fried is extra)- OR tortillas or lettuce for wraps. We had a great server- she was keeping us taken care of. Everyone was so friendly. The salad bar was not super fresh, so I opted out of that. Ice tea was fresh- ( important)

Not how I remembered this restaurant! Upon entering, the host staff was unclear as to what tables had been cleaned. Ours apparently needed wiped down. The server talked us into the build your own vs the menu preselected dishes because she said the taste will be much better if you build your own. Well, the beef was an awful quality and the bar was quite a mess! The restaurant overall was quite dirty. The beams had dust just hanging from them. The food was very overcooked and the cook team kept moving patrons around the grill. The egg roll appetizer arrived after we returned to our table. We still had no rice. The steamed rice then came out but the fried rice we cancelled as it had not been started in the back. We were full, so there’s that. However we asked for a box for the 2 egg rolls and the small Togo box that was complimentary wouldn’t even begin to fit them. We were then told an appropriate size box would cost $.55! Seriously. We paid the charge and took them to go. I won’t be back and wouldn’t suggest this place.

This was a unique experience. They give you bowl and you fill it up with whatever you want and then they cook it for you on a large grill. There were countless selections. Everything was clean and well stocked. I will definitely be returning here.
