Bay Leaf Restaurant is a fantastic Bengali halal spot with absolutely delicious food! The flavors are rich and authentic, and the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Plus, their in-store prices are actually cheaper than what’s listed online, which is a great bonus. Definitely a must-visit for amazing food and great service!

Best mutton curry. Exactly the same like you get in India. Don't miss out on it if you want to try authentic Indian food. The quantity is also great. Ordered some rice and Naan on the side. Also tried the kebabs.

I've been to Bay Leaf a couple times and each time the food is very good, the staff are nice and helpful and the chai is so good! This time I got the chicken over rice with a veggie samosa and chicken samosa (all are pictured). The chicken is packed with flavor and has a mild-medium heat level and the rice is cooked well, not sticky. The samosas are fresh and I liked the veggie best. The portions are generous, the chicken over rice was split between two of us for lunch and we were full. Service was a little slow,, maybe think about calling ahead to order, but I would definitely recommend and go again!

Almost every week I take out food from here. I am greatly disappointed with this restaurant now. I gave 4 stars it’s not been long. But now I’m filled with irritation and exasperation to say that their food quality is not good as it used to be. They should work on their CUSTOMER SERVICE very badly. I feel they have 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE. They just don’t know how to behave and treat their customers. And now they are taking extra charge for credit card with tax. They are always rude when ask them any questions. I’m paying for my food, I have right to know why , where I’m paying. I know I’m NOT GOING THERE AGAIN. And to our community people…. Please check before you pay your bills and it’s high time to discourage this kinds of behavior and charging policy by stop going there. They used to be one of my favorite but no more.

Had Bengali food and halal food for the first time. Did not disappoint. Edit: Just went there again for a second time. We got kitchuri with beef curry. It’s nice, though the biryani was better. Looking forward to coming back again some time. This is one of my favorite places to get bengali food. It’s simple, you go in, order, and take it home or eat it there. There’s no service, so after you finish eating, throw out the empty containers. The only thing they can improve on is just the sanitation. Maybe have someone come out and wipe down the tables sometimes and sweep the floor. Organize things a little better. But other than that, everything’s great! Hope to see it get better next time! Edit: Again, amazing food, didn’t disappoint! This time I got the Morog Polao. Love the sauce.
