The food is delicious. We really enjoyed the passion fruit prawns and our roast duck. They will cut the duck in front of you during weekends. What an experience! My friends love their Zen Garden cocktail. We ordered 2!

Very enjoyable Monday evening dinner! We visited so that we could try the renowned Peking Duck. We were originally going Sunday evening but had to reschedule and benefitted from the Monday special ($58 rather than $88) Signature Peking Duck. We started with the smoked mackerel (rich with umami flavor), passion fruit prawns (large battered shrimp) and soup dumplings (xiao long bao) with a couple of glasses of rose champagne. Then we were both given servings of hoisin, sugar, sliced green onions, sliced cucumber and (unconventionally?) sliced honeydew melon (it is good with the duck!!). We shared a double steamer of individually separated super thin pancakes. A heaping plate of the duck arrived with plenty of duck meat and lots of fatty skin. We were very happy and polished most of it off! Our server, Franny, is wonderful. Very attentive and she arrived, as if by magic, just when we needed her. It's a good sign when the folks working in a place are clearly happy to be there and excited for you to try their food. A manager came to check on us and ensure we had enjoyed everything. We really did and we'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this restaurant! I was impressed by the great customer service and the upscale mellow vibe! I went for lunch and it wasn’t crowded, you don’t need reservations. I tried multiple cocktails and loved them all! Every dish I had was delicious!! Although the sweet and sour pork had more veggies than pork but I still loved it! I tried dim sum for the first time and wow!! Soooo good!! I will definitely be coming back to sample other dishes! It’s located in Lincoln square and they validate your parking. I don’t understand why this restaurant doesn’t have a higher rating.

I recently had lunch at Baron’s with my mother and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. While the roast duck isn’t quite the same as traditional Peking duck, the crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat make it a standout dish. The other dishes we tried had distinct flavors that set them apart from the typical offerings at most restaurants. Their new dim sum selections were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic, showcasing a fresh take on classic dishes. Overall, the attention to detail and flavors made for a delightful dining experience. The special lunch prices were also very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their dishes!

Barons actually surprised me by how good it was. I was a little concerned due to the reviews, but my experience was positive. The place looks great and has a nice big layout that’s very clean. The food is delicious, although I will add the service is mediocre. My thoughts are if the service can be improved, this place would be amazing. We ordered the Peking duck and it was delicious. No wonder it’s rated so highly. We ordered quite a few other dishes including cucumbers, stir fry scallops, truffle fried rice, and more. They have a huge big menu and offer a cocktails, beer and wine. I ordered the fire breathing dragon, which is a tequila and Mezcal drink, and it was pretty good. Overall, we thought this place was really good and I’d recommend it.
