The popcorn chicken is all that everyone has been saying. It’s crispy. Light. FLAVORFUL. Was an enjoyable lunch and the portion was enough that I had left overs. Will definitely come back and try another dish. A lot of folks visiting for lunch were getting the ramen or little hot pot.
The octopus not fresh and taste funny. The Malatang noodle was ok doesn’t taste much flavor , the dandan noodle was great! Total of $27 for above !
We had just left the 911 museum and needed a close place to go eat. I don't think they were necessarily authentic Chinese. Not to say it was bad. Some of it was good, of course that's just the opinion of my family. The customer service was great and it wasnt busy at all. The pork belly plate was good. I can say I wasn't a fan of the tea egg lol. Anyway, it might not have been a hit for us, go give it a shot yourself.
Found this place accidentaly on my lunch break. Place turned out to be nice. Staff was friendly. Place is small but efficient with extra space on the back that is utilized by the restaurant. Asked for my popcorn chicken to be mild spicy and for my veggie ramen to be medium and they did it exactly how I wanted it.
popcorn chicken is good, but the porkbelly is a bit "hard" (not easy to chew). good value in this district.
