About Bangkok Grill

Introducing Bangkok Grill, a restaurant located in Covington, GA, that is listed under the Chinese Restaurant category on various platforms. While specializing in Thai cuisine, it offers a range of dishes for local users.

Environment: Information regarding the dine-in environment of Bangkok Grill is limited and mixed based on the provided reviews. One review mentions filthy cups and ice that tasted like an old freezer, suggesting potential issues with cleanliness. However, the other review focuses solely on a delivery order placed through Uber Eats, providing no insight into the restaurant's physical ambiance.

Services: Bangkok Grill offers both dine-in and delivery services, as indicated by the two contrasting reviews. One customer had a negative dine-in experience, while another had a positive experience with a delivery order placed through Uber Eats, receiving freshly prepared food. The menu includes Thai dishes such as pad see ew, beef noodle soup, coconut soup, shrimp fried rice, and fried chicken wings. Takeout service is also implied through the mention of packing food to go.

Features: Based on the reviews, the features of Bangkok Grill are somewhat inconsistent. One positive aspect highlighted is the freshly prepared and flavorful food, particularly the shrimp fried rice with sautéed bell peppers and onions, and the flavorful fried chicken wings. The price range is also noted as being just right. However, a significant negative feature reported is the blandness of some dishes like the pad see ew and beef noodle soup, as well as concerns about food quality and cleanliness, including a hair found in the food and filthy cups.

This place use to be so much better. My husband had pad see ew, which was pretty bland and when packing it to go we found a black hair under the food. My beef noodle soup was terrifying looking. Not sure if it was beef. Tasted horrible. Coconut soup was way too sweet. Our cups were filthy and ice tasted like an old freezer. Never again.

I ordered from here through Uber Eats. The food was very good and it was freshly prepared. I ordered shrimp fried rice and fried chicken wings. The rice had bell peppers and onions in it that had been sautéed. The flavor in the rice was awesome!!! I usually eat just a little of rice because a lot of times it’s not fresh rice when you order it from some restaurants, that was not the case here. The chicken wings were also very good and flavorful. There price range is just right.

Very nice restaurant and the food is tasty. Nice place for a lunch date. I had a late lunch with my son after having his first short haircut in about 10 years. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very informative and friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant in Covington, GA.

Review update: been there 6 or 7 times total. So far all but twice (first time there and second to last time there), the vegetables in whatever meal I got were undercooked. The second to last time I went the vegetables were cooked well, but today they were back to the usual undercooked state. Flavor is still good, but I wish the vegetables were cooked more. Service is still good though. Good so far! Want to give 4.5 stars but that's unfortunately not an option. New owners, so expect things to be slightly different than before. Atmosphere: a little less cozy than before, or at least currently less cozy (probably because of not having carpet and having projectors for tv) Service: new owners and new workers, but the service is still great! Food: I had one of my two standard orders from the previous Bangkok (yellow curry tofu, edamame, & Thai iced tea) everything was good, just slightly different than before. Portion sizes seem slightly smaller than before, but still filling! I still managed to have leftovers! I'll update the review when I try my other standard order. Happy to see it open again!

This was one of my favorite restaurant in Covington Georgia. This is a Thai restaurant that had to close out due to a fire. The restaurant was remodeled and new owners took over. Was around the Covington area and decided to make a pick up order with the family favorites- spicy fried rice, blackened salmon and the egg rolls. When looking at the new menu, Bangkok Grill has almost all of the menu items that the menu offered prior to the fire. They offer now Wings. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty. The decor is minimalist. The restaurant smells fresh. Took the food items and the spicy fried rice had the same old flavors, as well as the blackened salmon. The egg rolls were a little bland and the dipping sauce is not the same (needs more flavor). I am still a fan of Bangkok.
