Customer reviews for Bamboo Garden Restaurant present mixed experiences. One reviewer found it to be a potential "new favorite late night spot," praising the "plentiful options" that satisfy late-night cravings, along with "sizable portions," "great flavor," and "classic Chinese yumminess."
However, another customer, a former New Yorker, had a significantly negative experience. They likened the restaurant's appearance to the "hole in the wall Chinese restaurants" common in NYC, which they typically associate with consistent, delicious, and affordable food. However, their order of chicken and broccoli unexpectedly had a "dominant flavor of shrimp," which they found "absolutely unacceptable and absolutely disgusting," suspecting cross-contamination in the wok. They also described the cold sesame noodles as "the worst" they had ever had. While the restaurant did provide a refund for the chicken and broccoli, this customer deemed their overall meal "inedible" and advised others not to visit.
In summary, Bamboo Garden Restaurant appears to offer a wide range of Chinese dishes and may be considered a good option for late-night dining by some, with sizable portions and good flavor. However, there is also a concerning recent report of significant food contamination and poor quality of another dish, suggesting potential inconsistencies in their food preparation. Potential customers should consider these differing recent experiences.

Possibly my new favorite late night spot?? 🤔 This place is amazing if you're looking for plentiful options that satisfy your late night (and any time) cravings. Sizable portions, great flavor, and classic Chinese yumminess.
I had driven past this spot so many times and as a New Yorker in diaspora it reminded me of the thousands of hole in the wall Chinese restaurants we have in NYC, a restaurant category that in my head I associate with easy to cook, consistent, delicious and cheap food. I ordered chicken and broccoli because it’s simple and delicious and it was my favorite dish at these spots since I was a child, when I took my first bite of my chicken and broccoli I was surprised by a dominant flavor of shrimp, something that has always disgusted me, something that chicken and broccoli just shouldn’t ever taste like. They must have cooked it in a wok that they had just previously cooked shrimp in and not had cleaned the wok. Absolutely unacceptable and absolutely disgusting. The cold sesame noodles, another dish that should be even harder to F up was the worst cold sesame noodles I’ve had in my entire life (a dish I’ve ordered hundreds of times). I called them and told them about the chicken broccoli and they gave me a refund for that dish only, which deserves some respect but anyhow my food was inedible. Don’t come here
I had a combo fried rice, brown rice at that , and some crab rangoons for an appetizer. The service was wonderful as well our server , she was a sweetheart too.
The food was okay. I got mooshu pork and pot stickers and crab rangoon. So far I'm pleased with the quality of the food but the quantity is very disproportionate to the price, so therefore not worth it. DO NOT bother with the appetizers here. They are decent but it's NOT worth the price for what you get. Take a look at how small these pot stickers are, less than half the size of any other restaurant anywhere. My favorite Chinese places in the city I can barely fit 1 pot sticker in the sauce container and they usually give you 6-8. I can fit all 4 of my remaining dumplings from this place in the sauce container - that's how small they are. And how much unnecessary fried dough there is with very little filling on the crab rangoon. Each of these appetizers cost $8, so $16+ for barely any food at all, certainly not shareable for even 2 people. I don't appreciate restaurants that cheat you on size and charge you thru the roof, that's bad business. The mooshu was a good size for the price and not bad, but you'd be better off getting food from somewhere else that will charge you the same or even cheaper prices and actually give you bigger portions.
Food was not good, at all. It was so bad that even the fortune cookie was stale. And I feel like American Chinese food is kind of hard to mess up too.
