About Bamboo Express

Bamboo Express is a Chinese Restaurant located at 1548 W Pico Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. They can be contacted at (213) 384-2051 or +1 213-384-2051.

Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Bamboo Express appear to be mixed. One reviewer described the location as a "small shack in the middle of this weird place" but found the food to be great and the service outstanding. This customer particularly enjoys their soups and also tried the combo C with three items, noting the food was "really good" for the price and portion size, which they considered great. They recommended visiting during morning to afternoon for the best experience and expressed their gratitude and intention to return.

However, another reviewer had a significantly negative experience, stating they would give no stars if possible due to a cashier with a "horrible attitude," emphasizing that they were paying customers.

In summary, Bamboo Express seems to offer good value with great portions and tasty food, especially their soups and combo meals, along with outstanding service according to one review. However, potential customers should be aware of a reported issue with a cashier's attitude, which created a negative experience for another diner. The environment is described as a "small shack," which may indicate a more casual setting. Local users may want to weigh the positive feedback on food and service against the negative comment about the cashier when considering Bamboo Express.

Orange chicken is the one delicious item they serve here. All the other items like the mushroom chicken, and even chow mein are very bland. Portions are reasonable if you get the item combo, but the one item combo had no more than 5 pieces of chicken along with the chosen side (still $10). I’d go back (friendly service and clean restaurant) but they need to work on their cooking aside from the orange chicken.

Oily, soggy, food with very little taste. The place have been cleaned in years, the kitchen is a horror show and just imagine the food.

I don’t really have nothing to complain about except for the beef broccoli It was soggy from the beef sauce The rice taste like they made it from my rice cooker it was good The noodles a little greasy but not to bad I went here some where around 8:18 or 8:21 before closing time my food was still hot and edible I guess people got different experience oh and I think this Fast food restaurant is run by Mexicans cooking Chinese food because when I walked in they had Telemundo playing on to but I’ll go back agin 🤣
