About Bamboo Express Chinese Food

Welcome to Bamboo Express Chinese Food, a Chinese restaurant located at 203 W Parsons St, Manor, TX 78653, USA. You can reach them at (512) 621-2261 or +1 512-621-2261 for inquiries or to place an order. Based on the limited recent customer reviews available, experiences at Bamboo Express Chinese Food appear to be somewhat varied, with positive feedback on some dishes and services, and negative feedback on others. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on these recent customer accounts.

One customer shared a highly positive experience, particularly highlighting the restaurant's willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions. As someone who does not eat meat, they requested Shrimp Lo-mein and specifically asked if the cooking equipment could be cleaned beforehand. The customer was pleased that the restaurant fulfilled this request. They also noted that the portion size was substantial, enough for two meals, and praised the quality of the food, mentioning that Bamboo Express did not skimp on the shrimp. This positive review led the customer to state that they would definitely be buying more from this establishment. It is important to note that this customer also mentioned that their request was made before closing time, suggesting that such accommodations might be dependent on the timing of the visit and a direct inquiry.

In stark contrast, another customer had a significantly negative experience with the food at Bamboo Express Chinese Food. They described the overall food quality as "meh!" and specifically criticized the pork egg rolls as "horrible," stating that they tasted like "hot grease." Further detailing their dissatisfaction with the egg rolls, the reviewer noted that they contained very little pork and were predominantly filled with cabbage. Additionally, they pointed out that the pork egg rolls were unusually wrapped in spring roll paper, which differs from the thicker wrapper typically used for egg rolls. This highly negative experience led the reviewer to strongly advise against visiting the restaurant, even stating they "wouldn't send my worse enemy there." The only positive comment from this reviewer was that the food was hot, but this did not outweigh the negative aspects. Consequently, they indicated that they would not recommend Bamboo Express Chinese Food.

Based on these two contrasting reviews, the environment of Bamboo Express Chinese Food is not explicitly described. The mention of placing an order implies that takeout service is available. The willingness of the restaurant to accommodate a specific dietary request suggests a degree of flexibility in their service. However, the lack of detail about the dining area or overall ambiance makes it difficult to assess the environment.

The services offered by Bamboo Express Chinese Food appear to primarily include takeout, given that both reviewers mentioned ordering food to go or implying they took the food with them. The positive review highlights a willingness to accommodate special requests, such as preparing a dish with cleaned equipment for dietary restrictions, although this may be subject to the time of the request. The negative review focuses solely on the quality of the food received for takeout.

Key features of Bamboo Express Chinese Food, based on the limited and conflicting feedback, are difficult to definitively ascertain. They offer dishes such as Shrimp Lo-mein and Pork Egg Rolls, and seemingly have the capability to adjust cooking methods for dietary needs under certain circumstances. However, the quality of their food appears to be inconsistent, with one customer praising the Shrimp Lo-mein for its quality and quantity, while another strongly criticized the Pork Egg Rolls for their taste, filling, and preparation. The unusual use of spring roll paper for the egg rolls is a notable characteristic mentioned in the negative review.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special menus at Bamboo Express Chinese Food in the provided reviews. Local users interested in learning about any potential promotions or discounts are advised to contact the restaurant directly at (512) 621-2261 or +1 512-621-2261. Given the significantly different experiences reported by the two recent customers, it may be prudent to inquire about the preparation methods and ingredients of specific dishes when placing an order and to consider the potential for variability in food quality.

In conclusion, Bamboo Express Chinese Food in Manor, TX, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. While one customer had a very positive experience with their Shrimp Lo-mein and appreciated the restaurant's accommodation of a dietary restriction, another customer reported a highly negative experience with the Pork Egg Rolls, criticizing their taste, filling, and preparation. The use of spring roll paper for the egg rolls was a notable point of dissatisfaction. The availability of takeout service is implied. Potential customers may want to consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether to order from Bamboo Express Chinese Food. For any information on current promotions or specials, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

So good. Loved their food. I don’t eat meat and I asked if they could make me Shrimp lo-mein by cleaning their cooking equipments and they actually did. The quantity was large enough to be 2 meals. The quality of food was awesome and they don’t cheap out on shrimp. I would definitely be buying more of these. FYI - I asked to make mine before they closed, so It could be/could not be possible depending on time you visit and ask how I did.

The food is meh! The pork egg rolls were horrible; they tasted like hot grease. They didn't have much pork in them and they had more cabbage than anything. The pork egg rolls were wrapped in spring roll paper. I wouldn't send my worse enemy there. The food was hot though! Wouldn't recommend.

I haven’t seen no reviews on the Honey Walnut Shrimp so I’ll be the first. It’s delicious!! I was skeptical about trying it, but I’m glad I did. You want something sweet and savory, this is it! And as usual the quality and quantity is on point. Comes with fried rice, but you can get steamed rice if you like.

First time ordering from this place from DoorDash. Everything arrived packaged beautifully with all condiments. Everyone here loved everything and the plate I had was amazing. I didn’t get to have seconds. Next time, I’ll double the order. Manor might not have much but they have a good Chinese restaurant.
