Bamboo Bistro offers a diverse menu that goes beyond traditional Chinese fare, featuring a variety of noodle, rice, and soup dishes inspired by different parts of Asia. If you're seeking a restaurant with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, Bamboo Bistro is a place to consider.

Based on customer reviews, Bamboo Bistro Pflugerville provides a well-thought-out and comfortable environment despite its potentially smaller space. One reviewer noted that the interior has "a great layout to space everyone out perfectly, in the smaller space," suggesting an efficient and comfortable arrangement that prevents overcrowding. While the restaurant operates on a counter service model, the focus on spatial organization indicates an effort to create a pleasant dining area for guests who choose to eat in. Another reviewer described the "atmosphere" as "calm," further highlighting a relaxed and enjoyable setting for your meal.

Bamboo Bistro operates on a convenient order-and-pay-at-the-counter service model. After placing your order, you can help yourself to a drink from the fountain and then find a seat to wait for your food to be prepared. This system is often efficient and allows for a more casual dining experience. Despite the counter service, customers have consistently praised the staff for their excellent service. One reviewer described their server as "extremely kind and friendly," while another mentioned being "nicely checked on and greeted by the staff" and feeling "treated great." This emphasis on friendly and attentive service contributes significantly to the positive customer experience at Bamboo Bistro.

A key feature of Bamboo Bistro is its diverse menu, which includes a variety of noodle, rice, and soup dishes drawing inspiration from various Asian culinary traditions. This allows for a broader range of choices compared to a strictly traditional Chinese restaurant. Customers have specifically highlighted the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. One reviewer who tried the "beef and broccoli and kung pao" noted that "the portions were very generous, veggies used were crisp and fresh, and everything tasted great." The tenderness of the meat in the beef and broccoli was also commended. This focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients is a significant draw for those seeking flavorful and well-prepared meals.

Specific dishes have received positive feedback. The beef and broccoli was praised for its tender beef and fresh, crisp vegetables. The kung pao, while noted as "not spicy," was still appreciated for its "great flavor." This indicates that Bamboo Bistro pays attention to the taste profiles of their dishes, even when adjusting spice levels. The edamame was mentioned as being "pretty salty" by one reviewer, which is a specific detail to be aware of for those sensitive to salt. Overall, the positive comments on the main dishes suggest a kitchen that prioritizes taste and quality.

Parking at Bamboo Bistro can be a consideration due to its location within a parking lot shared with other popular establishments like Chipotle and Raising Canes. One reviewer offered a helpful "tip for parking, park in back, if needed," suggesting that alternative parking spots might be available to avoid congestion near the front. This practical advice can be valuable for customers visiting during peak hours.

We came on a Saturday, pretty close to opening. The parking was not too bad but can get packed with Chipotle and Raising Canes in the same parking lot. Tip for parking, park in back, if needed. Inside has a great layout to space everyone out perfectly, in the smaller space. For the food, it's order and pay at the counter, and then you go get your drink (fountain) and sit and wait. The menu consists of a variety of noodles, rice, and soup dishes from various parts of Asia. We got beef and broccoli and kung pao to the test general Chinese food. The portions were very generous, veggies used were crisp and fresh, and everything tasted great. The kung pao was not spicy but great flavor. The m eat used in beef in broccoli was tender and non chewy. The server was extremely kind and friendly. We would definitely return to try more of the dishes.

I never write reviews but I felt the need to for here. The service was amazing, we were nicely checked on and greeted by the staff and were treated great. The food was yummy though the edamame was pretty salty. The atmosphere was calm other than the entry door closing a little aggressively as people went through. Overall it was great!

First time visiting here. I got a coupon in the mail and decided to check it out as we didn’t want to cook. I looked at the online ordering but could see how to apply any coupons so I decided to just go and order in-person. There was no body at that time eating inside. But there seemed to be a ton of takeout stuff to go. I ordered and expected to wait a bit to get it but it only took about five minutes to get my food. I thought that was pretty fast. The staff was ok and seemed in-different. There is free parking in the lot in the strip center. I’ll go back and use the other coupons for a discount and free stuff. I got some free rangoons this time with the coupon. The food tasted good and was a nice portion.

Very bad experience with this restaurant. Crispy noodles were undercooked and hard, sitting in basically soy sauce, vegetables were undercooked, hot and sour soup was watery , a few tiny pcs of tofu or veg in it, rice was mushy, Eggroll was soggy with grease. They weren't even trying. I asked for a refund and offered to return all the food, William said no need, he would have the manager refund me the money, but I haven't seen a credit on my crcd since the purchase on July 5th.

False advertisement. Crab wontons actually have no crab….weird. I called up there to inquire YSS crab when there is actually no crap in there and they replied that it’s just a generic name. That’s a bit of a stretch. I definitely would not have ordered them if there was no crab.
