Great little find while we were camping at American Legion. The food was delicious. We had mango curry with brown rice and some miso soup. The owner, I assume, was very kind and checked in on us often. Quick service! Will definitely be back! When we finished, the sky was amazing ❤️

10/24 - Another night in October their sesame beef with white rice was tasty. # 9/24 - Revisiting this restaurant, their General Tso Chicken still delivers. The vegetable gyoza was enjoyed. I liked the shumai and Szechuan steak. # 12/22 Take-out for four. Best dish was the Thai chicken red curry classic dish. Sweet & Sour Chicken is consistently good here. The Teriyaki Salmon was decent but had way too many onions. Pork rolls were better than the spring rolls which were very oily. House special fried rice was made well. The pork dumplings are on the smaller side whether pan fried or steamed. Wonton soup - fine. Timely service. $95. for four was surprising. # 6/22 - Ordered four lunches to go served from 11:00AM to 3:00PM Monday thru Saturday; 12-3PM Sundays. Mains come with choice of white, brown or fried rice and used to come with miso or onion soup, but it's now a one dollar add-on. Their miso soup varies, so we tried the onion. Much better. Everyone was happy with their food: One order of Moo Goo Gai Pan, one order of General Tso Chicken, one order of Hibachi Shrimp, one order of Sweet and Sour Chicken and an extra dish of Fried Chicken Wings with fried Rice. It took awhile to pick up because of traffic delays, so my Hibachi Shrimp sauce was a little gelatinous, but the shrimp were a good size and the mix of zucchini, onion, carrots, and mushroom was nice. The fried rice had nothing in it and seemed to be just put on the hot greased grill. Pick the white or brown when ordering lunch. Their dinner fried rice is, or used to be, a decent version with more things added. # Second review: Grateful to see they were still open at 9PM coming home from dinner June 8th, 2020, as we had some hungry family members waiting for us. We gave them a call and read the menu in the window to ask what they wanted to place our order. The dining area is surprisingly nice and not expected from the store front. The counter person said about twelve minutes, so we sat outside on the bench by the door. In twelve minutes everything was done and packed up. The Orange Chicken is spectacular. Crispy outside, moist inside and packed with flavor. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was full of vegetables along with the chicken, which made the dish very colorful and a healthy choice. The large shrimp fried rice was plentiful, and as in my prior review, still made with onion and small hints of egg. The steamed pork dumplings are on the small side but satisfying. The complimentary miso soup is much improved from our first visit. Now it's a real treat with clear broth, scallions, tofu and mushrooms. Good job by the cook. We look forward to dining in when restaurants reopen soon here in CT. # We ordered takeout here and were pleased with most of the dishes. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was tender yet crispy. We wanted Sweet and Sour Pork, but were told they only make the chicken. The Shrimp and Broccoli was well made in the standard way one would expect. The Curry Chicken here comes with a choice of red or green curry (the green adds basil). Our party member wanted a yellow curry with onions, a more traditional version, that does not add eggplant or tomatoes. She said it was light and different - okay. The wonton soup was delicious with a darker broth than the usual yellow. The three pork egg rolls were satisfyingly crunchy and not greasy. The Edamame was a little limp and needed salt. Pork fried rice isn't on the menu but they made this for us. It didn't have the little pink squares of pork most people are familiar with when ordering this dish, but what appeared to be cooked strips of pork. A hint of egg also was included. In our bags were two complimentary small styrofoam bowls of their version of Miso soup, quite different than what is served in CA. I added chicken stock, onion, a little leftover noodles and turkey to mine for lunch. The other was thrown out disapprovingly by someone else. No fortune cookies are token giveaways here. The menu includes hibachi and teriyaki meals and House or Chicken Caesar salad with ginger dressing.

Great family owned and operated restaurant. Food was very tasty and the portions are great, especially at this price point. Will be stopping by again when in the area!

They added in a convenience fee in addition to the service fee. The convenience fee did not show at checkout, but was there on the email receipt. You have to disclose all fees before placing the order and being charged. The convenience fee is added and the total charged increased after ordering. I had to file complaints with my credit card company, the CT Dept. of Consumer Protection, and the Better Business Bureau. Still no offer to refund me the charge. I finally got a refund, not from the restaurant, but from the company that does their online ordering. The restaurant owners did not offer to refund me and have not been helpful at all. They just made excuses that business is tough and that I should understand them illegally charging me more than agreed.
