I used to love this place. I don’t know what happened. Ordered sesame chicken with pork fried rice requested white meat. My sesame chicken is not chewable. it seems like fried batter with sauce on it, impossible to chew… I was so hungry I’m very disappointed.

Super fresh and non greasy. The General Tso might be the best in NYC - nice and sweet, with a slight crunch and very fresh white meat. The fried rice is so fluffy and flavorful. Overall, it is distinctly clean tasting and nothing like your average hood mom and pop Chinese spot, instead it is almost gourmet level Chinese American food. I've ordered from them several times over the last few years and they have consistent high quality each time. I hope they expand their menu as every item I've had has been cooked perfectly.

The place is really cool and niche, service was great. But the food is terrible, it’s over priced and people that leave food reviews are those that are NOT from nyc. It’s your average American Chinese food dishes except they don’t taste good at all, and the owners just gonna say “different taste buds.” Honestly you’re better off getting a combo at any other spot for less than $14 including tax with a much larger portion.

Definitely wanted to see what the hype was about. Saw this spot on 1st Ave on Instagram getting alot praise about it's food. And TBH it was good, really good at that. I ordered Garlic Shrimp with Egg Fried Rice. But I did order online because the wait is ridiculous depending on the day you go. But aside from that the service is good and the food is better. Try it out. You won't be disappointed
