About Baek Ri Hyang

Baek Ri Hyang is a Korean restaurant situated at 3390 S State St #31, South Salt Lake, UT 84115, USA. They can be contacted at (801) 883-9693 or +1 801-883-9693 for inquiries.

Located conveniently after shopping at the Chinese market, Baek Ri Hyang offers a variety of Korean dishes. One customer highly recommended the spicy squid dish, noting the generous amount of perfectly cooked, non-chewy squid. The dish was described as large, very flavorful, and delicious, easily enough for two meals.

Another popular item is the beef bulgogi, although one customer who ordered it with noodles found the bulgogi itself to be good, but the accompanying noodles were served cold and deemed not very good, ultimately being thrown away despite it being one of the pricier dishes. In contrast, other reviews hail the bulgogi and short ribs as the best in Utah, emphasizing the huge portions that can easily feed up to four people with a single order, suggesting good value for the price despite being considered expensive.

A notable feature of dining at Baek Ri Hyang is the complimentary appetizers served before the main course. Customers enjoyed this aspect, describing it as a lot of fun, even though some appetizers were preferred over others.

The environment and specific services beyond dine-in and potentially take-out (implied by one review) are not detailed in the provided information. However, the restaurant is clearly a destination for those craving Korean food, particularly bulgogi and short ribs, and offers substantial portions. Currently, no specific promotional information is mentioned in the reviews. Local users seeking authentic Korean flavors and generous servings are encouraged to try Baek Ri Hyang.

We came here after shopping at the Chinese market. I got the spicy squid dish. It had a lot of squid! The squid was perfect not excessively chewy. The whole dish overall was large, very flavorful, and delicious. Easily two meals worth of food. My wife got the beef bulgogi with noodles. The beef bulgogi was good, but the noodles were served cold. Honestly, they weren’t very good at all. We took them to-go but ended up throwing them away. Which is unfortunate because it is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. We both enjoyed the appetizers that they serve you before your entree. Some of them were better than others, but it was a lot of fun.

Best bulgogi and short ribs in Utah. It's expensive but huge portions. You get what you pay for. One order of bulgogi and ribs is enough to feed 4 people easy. A must try if you love Korean food.

The menu offers a variety of options, but the prices were steep. The food came hot and the sides were good, but the white rice was not fresh and the seafood tofu soup was flavorless. The restaurant is spacious and clean, but it is bland and lacking character. The staff was nice and they checked in often. However, it was odd when the waiter stood 2 feet from my table as I wrote in the tip and immediately took the check after I was done. I find that unprofessional and shouldn't be taken away until the table has been cleared. I will not be returning, as this restaurant lacks value and flavor.

Good quality food, ok price. I ordered the chicken bulgogi and got spicy chicken sauce instead of Korean BBQ, so be aware of that. Its ok.

I don’t know where’s the 4.4 star rating came from . The food was way too sweet and far away from authentic Korean cuisine. The city I grew up in are full of Korean restaurants. The city I am living right now has lots Korean restaurants as well. This one I visited is really not good. They might have added 53grams of corn syrup to the $53 beef short rib we ordered (1st picture). The cold noodle is alright but only sweet not sour as it should be. Although we paid the suggested 18% tips, we got zero service. The waiters never came to check on us unless we waved them over.
