Baby Cafe - Brookline

Food is interesting as it has some modern takes on Hong Kong cafe staples, but it is surprisingly bland... I wonder who the target audience is. The best things were ironically the simplest things: the milk tea, the green beans, and the fried fish. On the other hand, the Hainan chicken noodle soup was lackluster, not really sure what they were going for with the soup broth, and the Portuguese chicken baked rice had no flavor except salt and maybe a touch of coconut. Don't get me wrong, it's all edible, but it's just not going to blow your mind.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the HK food here. We ordered the pork chop rice and it was delicious. The beef tendon soup had delicious noodles and succulent beef, even if it had a bit too much chewy tendon for our taste.

Delicious food! Flavorful Hainan chicken, went well with the rice and sauce. Popcorn chicken was juicy and crisp. Dishes came out quickly too. Attentive service. Huge variety on the menu—many other dishes I want to come back to try. Glad to have the restaurant in the neighborhood!

Quality food in a chill environment with very quick service. Their Hainan Chicken and Crispy Rice with Beef are a MUST try. Their spaghetti bake are also excellent

Craving authentic Hong Kong food? 🤤 Look no further! Absolutely legit baked pork chop spaghetti 🔥 properly caffeinated HK milk tea. Also loved the beef stew wonton soup noodles. The only thing missing is old school Cantonese ballads of Jacky Cheung. One request to the restaurant - add satay beef instant noodle (公仔麵) to the menu!
