Atami Grill & Sushi Canton

We had a great dining experience at Atami. It was our first time at this restaurant and so glad we found it! The sushi were on point and so fresh ! Our service was also fantastic as Blake was super attentive and personable without being intrusive. It was a great experience all around and can't wait for a return trip!

Typical hibachi restaurant, it is very small and cramped. I received chicken instead of shrimp, and by the time I got the right meal the rest of my party was nearly done eating. Employees were not very friendly. Plenty of free parking available.

My family were in the mood for some Asian food last Sunday. We found this place on Google and figured we would give it a try. The reviews did not disappoint. The food was amazing! EVERYTHING we ordered was full of flavor and very fresh. The magnolian beef was BOMB! Everything you see in the picture I would reorder any day! The staff was friendly and respectful. I'll definitely be coming back!

First visit, highly recommend, food was a solid 4 star but gave a overall a 5 star. The hibachi, soup and orange salad was very good. The Chinese combo, wonton soup fairly priced and very good. There are so few 'trustworthy' sit down Japanese/Chinese locations in the area, we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back. The restaurant was clean, staff very nice, greeted when you enter. Cool idea, they had a projector pointed at the wall that shows different moving scenes, some that might hold kids attention. The sushi bar looked nice, try next time. My only reason for 4 star was the egg rolls weren't fried as deeply as typical nor was the fried rice and the hibachi had a minor amount of pepper type spice which most including myself would enjoy, but the wife doesn't. Most hibachi we recall isn't like, next time will ask if it can be made without.

The remodel is really nice. Always great atmosphere, nice staff, tasty food, good service. I haven't got to experience the hibachi side yet, I have only gone for lunch so far. If you're looking for a calm relaxing lunch spot for Chinese, a fresh sushi bar, check it out!
