Welcome to Asian Wok, a Chinese restaurant located at 6310 Old Oak Ridge Rd # B, Greensboro, NC 27410, USA. Based on the limited customer reviews available online, experiences at Asian Wok appear to be mixed, with notable concerns raised regarding both service and the dine-in environment. One customer reported a negative experience with a delivery order. According to this review, their order was allegedly delayed due to another delivery being prioritized, and they were informed of an $18 minimum for delivery only after placing their initial order. Subsequently, the delivered food was found to contain a "thick black hair." The customer's attempt to resolve the issue by contacting the restaurant was met with a dismissive response ("told me to have a nice night!"), leading them to state their intention to contact the health department. This review highlights significant issues with order handling, delivery policy communication, and food safety.
In contrast, another customer offered some positive feedback regarding the food itself. They described the food as "lovely," specifically noting that the "meat is well sauced," the egg roll was "both delightfully crispy and soft on the inside," and the rice was not crunchy. These comments suggest that the quality and taste of some of Asian Wok's dishes can be satisfactory.
However, this same reviewer expressed considerable dissatisfaction with the restaurant's bathroom facilities. The bathroom was described as "awful," with "bad" lighting, untidy conditions ("the trash hasn't been touched"), and unclean walls and floors ("best left viewed in the bad lighting of the bathroom"). This paints a concerning picture of the cleanliness and maintenance of the restroom area, which can be indicative of overall hygiene practices within the establishment.
Furthermore, this reviewer's partner reportedly observed that the restaurant and its service are "very clearly geared towards take-out and not dine in." This suggests that while Asian Wok may offer a dine-in option, their primary focus and resources may be directed towards fulfilling takeout orders. Consequently, the dine-in experience might be less emphasized in terms of ambiance and service.
Given these contrasting yet critical reviews, it is challenging to provide a uniformly positive introduction to Asian Wok. While one customer found aspects of the food to be "lovely," the other reported a serious food safety issue and poor customer service. Additionally, the negative comments about the bathroom environment and the perceived prioritization of takeout over dine-in suggest potential shortcomings in the overall customer experience for those choosing to eat at the restaurant.
For local users considering Asian Wok, it is important to weigh these recent experiences. The positive remarks about the taste and texture of some food items might be appealing, especially for takeout. However, the reported incident of finding hair in the food and the subsequent customer service response are significant red flags concerning food safety and customer care. The description of the unhygienic bathroom also raises concerns about the overall cleanliness of the establishment.
As a platform providing information about local Chinese restaurants, our aim is to present an objective view based on available feedback. In the case of Asian Wok, the current online reviews present a cautionary picture. Potential customers may want to consider these points carefully before placing an order or visiting the restaurant.
Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers or features of Asian Wok, such as lunch specials or signature dishes that are consistently praised. The limited and concerning nature of the recent reviews makes it difficult to highlight any particular strengths beyond the specific food items mentioned as "lovely" by one reviewer.
In conclusion, Asian Wok in Greensboro, NC, is a Chinese restaurant primarily focused on takeout and delivery services. While one customer found some of the food to be enjoyable, another reported a significant food safety issue and poor customer service. Additionally, the cleanliness of the dine-in facilities, particularly the bathroom, appears to be a cause for concern. Local users should consider these factors when deciding whether to order from or visit Asian Wok. It may be prudent to exercise caution and perhaps consider alternative Chinese restaurants in the Greensboro area with more consistently positive recent feedback.
Prospective customers might consider placing a small initial order to personally assess the food quality and service, keeping in mind the recent negative experiences reported by others. It may also be worthwhile to inquire about their food preparation and hygiene practices when placing an order.

The worst place to get food. They took a delivery order before me that I heard since they didn't put me on hold. Then told me I didn't have enough for delivery. They said minimum of $18 for delivery. I increased my order. Food arrived with a thick black hair in it. I called and they told me to have a nice night! I will be calling the health department as that is wrong. All they would had to do was replace the meal with hair in it!
The food is lovely - meat is well sauced, the eggroll was both delightfully crispy and soft on the inside, the rice isn't crunchy; but the bathroom is awful. The lighting is bad, the trash hasn't been touched, and the walls and floors are ... best left viewed in the bad lighting of the bathroom, we'll say. Per my partner, the restaurant and service are very clearly geared towards take-out and not dine in.
Wow, the lunch special was delicious (no, the rice isn't "sticky"). No undercooked, cardboard-like chicken. Not one piece. The egg roll was very tasty, and I'm not really an egg roll guy. Had curry chicken for lunch and took a chicken with garlic sauce for dinner. Both tasty! Good thing I don't live nearby, because I'd be broke from eating here so often. Highly recommended!
Great Chinese Food. Love the family and their consistency in providing quality, tasty Chinese food.
I’ve been ordering from here for years. They make up excuses now why they can not deliver to my home. I just called and said “do you have a delivery driver tonight” answer is “yes” so I give my address and then they make up an excuse to why the driver can not deliver to me. I told the young man I was talking to they would not be getting anymore buisness from me.
