Asian Star China Buffet

I have tried a lot of buffets but this place knocks it out it out of the park. The food is always full of flavor and they keep the food adequately hot and plentiful. The only small complaints that keep it from a five star. There egg rolls are very bland and greasy. The won tons for the wonton soup are always looking a bit old. The broth is good and makes up for it, but the wonton has no substance. I also think the napkins are way to thin for an all you can eat buffet that can get messy. Bonus points for the dessert selection. Lots to choose from. You have your choice of cookies, cake, fruits, pudding, jello and much more. But I always finish my dining experience with a rainbow sherbet on a cone. Dinner with a drink is $20. Not too bad for an all you eat dinner buffet. I will return.

$12.95 for a weekday lunch. Quick and easy lunch option for a group of people on different diets. In and out in less than an hour. They had tables prepared for groups. They had no problem providing a separate check for each individual. Friendly staff, but they did not clear used plates quickly. Food seemed fresh around noon on Tuesday. Typical Chinese buffet spread. There are a variety of stir fried chicken and pork dishes. There are also sushi, soups, dim sum, pizza, dumplings, and egg rolls. Sweets include mini cakes, cake rolls, cookies, chocolate pudding, ice cream, and fruit. Vegetarian options include a small salad bar, fried potato wedges, onion rings, fried breads, fried rice and noodles, white rice, stir fried green beans, stir fried mushrooms, spring rolls, steamed broccoli. Wish they had tofu. They did put up a Christmas tree which was nice. The old lanterns are dusty.

Been coming here for about 13 years now (insane to even think about that). The food is always tasty. Service is always on point. I just wish that the prices didn't inflate like they have. Also wish they had more pork free options for rice but it's either white rice or no rice here. Pictures were taken shortly after opening on a Saturday which is why some things were empty.

Food was cold, overcooked, bland and not very good at all. Every dish I tried had what seemed to be a fishy smell and taste. The chicken options were horrible (tough to chew), to be frank. My stomach feels really odd right now. Yucky! Also, cost too much. $12.90 lunch buffet with water as drink. One and done, never to return. Good luck!

I have been going here with my family since I was a kid in middle school, since I was 12 and I’m now 25 i been going to this buffet. I now take my own daughter who’s 1 and let me just tell you the atmosphere in there is great such sweet people. The owners are so sweet every time I walk in there without my dad, brother, and or daughter they ask where they are. The food is just delicious they have everything you can think of and on Sundays they have the best set up. I love going here because sometimes I just want a little of everything like honey chicken, green beans, fried rice, dumplings, Crab Rangoon, shrimp and veggies and they always have it all. The waiters and waitresses are super nice as well one always is happy to see my daughter and when it’s just my husband and I in there she ask where’s the baby. Oh and price wise best priced buffet around this area.
