About Asian Palace Tampa

Asian Palace Tampa is a Chinese restaurant located at 5223 Orient Rd, Tampa, FL 33610, USA. Currently, there is no phone number available in the provided information.

Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Asian Palace Tampa have been overwhelmingly negative. One reviewer had hoped for food comparable to a decent Chinese food court but found it to be even below that standard. They described the portions as seemingly large initially but discovered that the majority consisted of breading, which was soggy despite appearing crisp. The sauce was reported to have little flavor, the rice was bland, and only the egg rolls were considered barely decent. This customer felt that the quantity did not compensate for the poor quality.

Adding to the negative experience were the prices, which were considered high for the quality received. A single-item plate with fried rice was priced at $13, a small drink at an additional $4, and two egg rolls at $4, which the reviewer felt was excessive given the subpar food. Furthermore, a simple request for a customization, such as half rice and half noodles, was reportedly refused by the staff.

The total cost for two drinks, two egg rolls, and two plates of what was described as "mushy General chicken" amounted to approximately $42. This dining experience was labeled as a low point of the reviewer's trip to Florida and one of the most disappointing Chinese food encounters ever. The reviewer strongly advises against dining at Asian Palace Tampa, even for a quick meal, and understood why a nearby noodle bar had a long wait.

Another customer specifically ordered the bourbon chicken and described it as "so bad," advising others not to waste their money on the $20 meal, which they considered the "saddest $20" they had ever spent, stating that no amount of sauce or spice could have improved it.

In summary, based on the available recent customer reviews, Asian Palace Tampa is reported to serve Chinese food of very poor quality, characterized by excessive and soggy breading, bland flavors, and high prices. The service was also mentioned as inflexible regarding order customization. Potential customers are strongly advised to consider these recent experiences before choosing to dine at this establishment.

I had hopes it would be at least somewhat decent food court Chinese, but it failed to even deliver that. The portions they were serving appeared huge, but we later found out once we started eating that it was 90% breading. The sauce had little flavor, the breading looked crisp but was actually soggy. The rice was bland, and the egg rolls were barely decent. Quantity, it seemed, couldn't compensate for the lack of quality. Adding to the letdown were the prices, which were anything but budget-friendly. A single-item plate with fried rice costing $13, a small drink for an additional $4, and two egg rolls priced at $4 seemed excessive, especially considering the subpar quality of the food. Even a simple request to customize the order—like having half rice and half noodles—was met with a flat-out refusal from the staff. Our total for 2 drinks, 2 egg rolls, and 2 plates of mushy General chicken was about $42. This meal easily ranks as the low point of my trip to Florida and stands out as one of the most disappointing Chinese food encounters I've ever had. I strongly advise against dining here, even as a rushed meal, and now understand why there was an hour long wait to get into the noodle bar 100' away.

I ordered the bourbon chicken & it was so bad. Don’t waste your money. It’s $20 for a meal & it’s the saddest $20 you’ll ever spend. There ain’t a sauce or spice Alice that could’ve saved this meal.

Got the eggrolls and beef pepper steak. The beef pepper steak was good but they put it with noodles instead of rice? The pork in the eggrolls was completely raw and pink realized it after eating a bite. Took it back and got a full refund but how do you serve food that isn’t cooked? Clearly they were never tempted in the first place

The general Tso’s chicken was cooked absolutely perfectly. The flavor, and the proportions were amazing. Additionally, the eggrolls were exquisite. I have yet to had an eggroll that truly surprised me, and these were the best eggrolls I’ve ever had. Amazing keep up the good work.

The general Tso,s chicken is missing chicken. It was so burnt tonight I still can taste it. The egg rolls were also greasy and burnt..change the oil in the deep fryer and that should improve things
