Asian Garden

Used to order from here all the time. Placed a big order recently which included a salad. Unfortunately my pregnant wife and 1 year old noticed well into eating this that the lettuce leaves were covered in bugs. Absolutely unacceptable to have food safety standards worse than a home cook. Thankfully no one got food poisoning, but this makes me sick.

This has become our family staple in Local Waterbury for GREAT Chinese Food and Sushi. The staff is extremely friendly and very cordial. Food is very tasty and prepared with love! I enjoy everything. My daughter loves their shrimp tempura and Miso Soup. My wife enjoys their Sushi. I've had almost everything and they NEVER disappoint.

The food here is good like always, prices are affordable and portion is big, I can never finish my meal. They serve Thai, Chinese, and japanese food like sushi so there’s a lot to choose from. Most importantly their food is fresh, this is definitely a good spot to eat with family or friends.

Ever since we moved to rural CT from Flushing, NY (home to the largest Chinatown in the US and an epicenter of fabulous restaurants serving various regional styles) we tell our friends that no matter which direction we travel from our home, we are 45 minutes distant to the nearest bad Chinese restaurant. Well our horizons just expanded to include Asian Garden in Waterbury. We should have walked out the moment we entered to a foul odor, but the well rated Indian restaurant nearby had just closed and we were wicked starved. I have two goto’s whenever I try a new Chinese restaurant: Hot & Sour Soup and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. My wife was more adventurous and chose Spicy Chicken & Shrimp. My soup was watery, much too sweet and lacked umami. The lobster sauce completely flavorless. The chicken & shrimp dish was also too sweet and not spicy enough. At least the chicken & shrimp were properly cooked: tender and moist.

Chicken tasted old my stomach hurts rn as we speak. Yuck i won’t be coming back sorry the rice also tastes leftover other than that go head purchase at your own ride.
