Asian Fusion Pensacola (Food Trailer)

This is by far the best Asian food that we’ve ever had in Pensacola. I cannot believe the quality of the food that she makes out of a food truck. We tried four different dishes tonight and they were all phenomenal. I sure hope that people run and herds and try this so she will stay on our side of town because even if she leaves this side of town we’re gonna follow her anywhere she goes. The icing on the cake is that her prices are more reasonable than the bad places in town and to top it off she provide you with a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready while you’re standing outside or in your car waiting. I can promise you if you try this place, you’ll be back.

The food is hot and fresh and tastes amazing. Dao was very friendly and kind and catered to my dietary restrictions.

The food was hot, filling and fresh. No complaints! The portion is very generous. Tofu is an option with most meals for the vegetarians and vegans out there.

Two visits here, and excellent both times. Green curry and chicken fried rice the first time, yellow curry and pad Thai on our second visit. All were really, really good dishes, w/ fresh veggies and tender chicken. The lunch specials came with a nice eggroll. Fair prices, solid portions, and they had our food ready quick. Happy to finally have a nice option for Thai up this way.

My wife being from Thailand I've tried every Thai restaurant in Pensacola and the surroundings area. Her typical response after trying these various Thai restaurants is heavy criticism which is justified for obvious reasons at times but moreso because she knows the cuisine encyclopedically and her own culinary abilities are nothing to scoff at. After a staggering number of Thai restraunts being vetted and subsequently dismissed we finally found an establishment that she not only didn't critique but praised for its authenticity and quality. She finally found a taste of home across the world (and she didn't have to make it herself). Our initial experience was so positive she looked into the food truck and the chef was trained at Le Cordon Bleu and Dusit Thani Culinary College, a very prestigious culinary institute in Thailand. This explained a lot and should give you a more concrete foundation of what to expect. We subsequently proceeded to try every dish on the menu over the following months and have been thoroughly impressed by everything. From the tom tum, tom kha kai, pad see ew, pad kee mao, pad woon sen, panang curry, masaman curry, red curry, green curry, satay, glass noodle salad, yum gai zap, papaya salad, laab to the veggie stir fry (which will make you reevaluate how high vegetables can be elevated) and everything in between. And yes the pad thai is fantastic but if your entire conceptualization of Thai food starts and ends with pad thai I encourage you to use the opportunity of this food truck to explore the cuisine further. I'd like to note before I conclude this, the owner is super sweet and a kind soul. I love her. My only gripe is that she no longer makes fish cakes which I assume is due to the immediate demographic. My only other issue is that the place closes. If the thing you like least about a place is that it closes one day out of the week, that says everything. I'm grateful Pensacola finally has Thai food on this level and can't encourage anyone who reads this enough to try it out. Now go support this top tier local business and benefit at the same. It's a win win.
