Asian city

This is probably the worst dim sum I've had in years. The plating was awful but you could get over that. The trip was too thickly cut out of pure lack of care. The shrimp in the shrimp crepes tasted like it was past due – not at all fresh. The pan fried shrimp and chives barely had in his shrimp in it and the dough was too thick, and it was not fried well enough. D. The sticky rice barely had anything but rice in it. It was so bad we decided not to finish our food and go to another dim sum place.. I'm new to this area and we were visiting Atlantic City. Perhaps this is one of the best or only choices in the area, but I would not come back.

It’s really THE Chinese restaurant in the area. We call it our chow hall and for a big Chinese family to call it that, you know they can’t be bad. Their dim sum lunch is the best not only in their area but they are also better than places in Philly Chinatown. The people that works there are really nice. English is not their first language so I have heard them talk where it might come off a little “cold”. There’s a lot of dishes to pick from. Sometimes they receive special deliveries of ingredients so don’t forget to ask if they have any fresh delivery to get yourself a special dish. The avg price is higher for this post because we had lots of different seafood that night!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asian City, and it was an outstanding experience! The service was impressively quick, ensuring that we never had to wait long for our orders. The dim sum was delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection. The variety and quality of the food were on par with some of the dim sum I've had. The ambiance was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal. I will definitely be coming back to Asian City for more delectable dim sum delights! Highly recommend!

Only dim sum in this area and everything was delicious! They bring food by cart but you can tell server what you want too. I wish they had soup dumplings though. Prices are fair (check my pictures for prices) and restaurant is big. Dim sum only 11-3 everyday except Friday.

A restaurant like this - a Dim Sum lunch - can be daunting to someone who doesn’t know what’s really going on. Let me be your guide to a fantastic lunch! Attached should be pictures of my favorite things to to order (next time I go I’ll include the number on the menu, and pictures of the menu if there aren’t). When you sit, get the hot tea and pour a cup to let it cook a bit. The servers will bring carts to your table and allow you to choose what you’d like. Absolutely order the shrimp and pork shumai. They are delicious steamed dumplings, I eat so many orders of shumai. If you’re feeling adventures, the chicken feet dish is also good. The meat is soft, but watch out for the bones. Lastly, get the tofu skin. It’s stuffed with pork and bambu and it’s very good with some soy sauce. All four of those are available on one cart. The next cart we just order the tripe. If you know what tripe is and that’s a turn off - it’s not worth trying - but if you’re new and don’t know, don’t look it up, just try it. After you work on some of those dishes, you can order from the menu. I always get the rice noodle with the shrimp. They pour a sweet soy sauce on top at the table. This is my favorite thing. Another good order is the fried shrimp ball. It’s exactly what it sounds like - a crunchy ball of shrimp. Some other more beginner items are sticky rice, cream cheese wontons, and fried rice of your choice. Dim sim is a really fun way to eat. You share all these small plates and eat fairly quickly. It’s also conveniently located next to the Asian market where you can find some fun snacks and good prices on meat - but that’s another review. Definitely check this out - and don’t be afraid! The servers will help you order things you’d like.
