Asian Chao

$9.53 total for a small side of kung pao chicken? You should've seen the employee's reaction when I declined a combo. Their shoulders literally slumped with irritation. I didn't want rice. I felt like I was in another country with the way they were trying to bargain with me and twist my arm about buying a combo. They said "it's a bigger portion, so it's $8.99".....while showing me the tiny container it would be served in. But for two bucks more, I could've got two entrees with rice? What a complete waste and rip off. Shame on me for not walking away to go eat somewhere else. For the record Asian Chao, the portion was not bigger.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The energy recieved during service was tense rushed and unfriendly. The cashier never greeted me. I wondered why the people behind me were paying and leaving. When I finally got eye contact, she just pointed at the other register and spouted off the next total to the customer behind me. After discovering a hair in my food, which was dry (specifically the rice and bourbon chicken) and all but flavorless,I returned to the counter with all the food and the receipt. They reluctantly offered to remake it but a refund was never entertained. Needless to say there will not be a return visit.

The rice just tasted like soy sauce and very greasy, could go lighter on the soy sauce. The green bean tip were not removed and some had long pieces hanging out of the green beans, they were also mushy either sitting out for along time or over cooked. The orange chicken was the only thing that was okay which didn’t taste too bad. However I did have a upset stomach the day after could be the food, but can’t confirm. Also they charged me about two dollars more for two sides and one meat but I only got one of each.

I just paid $17 for food poisoning, I got chow mein and 2 types of chicken, I dont remember one of the names but the other was orange chicken. Please avoid at all cost. Unfortunately I came right before closing so I can't give them the rest of the food back and ask for a refund.

We always enjoy the food here. They are located inside the Mall of Georgia in the food court. Everything is super tasty. They also allow you to get one free refill of your drink and the food portion is quite generous as shown in my photos. We got the double Chicken Teriyaki and Shrimp teriyaki all the time.
