Online reviews can offer valuable insights into the restaurant's food quality, service, and overall environment. Some customers have reported negative experiences regarding the food. One review mentioned issues with the coconut shrimp, stating that it was not properly deveined and lacked sauce. The fried rice was described as bland. This reviewer also noted that the restaurant did not appear to be very clean. Despite these food concerns, the reviewer did acknowledge that the staff was friendly.

Another customer shared a similarly negative experience, describing the food as the "worst food I’ve paid money for in a long time." This review specifically mentioned the crab rangoon being overly chewy with an unpleasant taste of old cooking oil. The chicken fried rice was described as pale and flavorless, and the Pad Thai was said to be mushy, overcooked, and lacking in spice and flavor. This customer also pointed out that the restaurant prides itself on being "MSG Free," which they believe contributed to the overall lack of flavor. This reviewer stated they were so dissatisfied that they threw most of the food away and would not order from Asian Cafe again, even if it were free. However, they did mention friendly service for pickup and affordable prices as potential positives.

Based on these reviews, it appears that while Asian Cafe may offer friendly service for pickup and potentially affordable prices, there are significant concerns regarding the quality and taste of their food, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. Dishes such as coconut shrimp, fried rice, General Tso's chicken, crab rangoon, and Pad Thai have been specifically mentioned as being unsatisfactory by some customers.

When deciding whether to patronize Asian Cafe, it would be prudent to weigh these recent customer experiences against your own preferences and expectations for a Chinese restaurant. Factors such as food quality, taste, cleanliness, and overall value are important to consider.

I hate to leave a bad review, but this food was terrible..I got coconut shrimp that was NOT deveined and every single piece of shrimp had the black vein digestive tract which is in fact shrimp poop just open and all over everything.. no sauce for the food, just shrimp covered in coconut flakes and fried.. The rice was bland and almost white, with no flavor but supposed to be fried rice. The restaurant isn't the cleanest. The staff was sweet, but the food was just awful. Boyfriend got general tsos, and he said it was terrible as well and didn't eat more than a bite. We spent $30 on coconut shrimp crab rangoon and general tsos. I have never wasted food in my life. I would just stomach it, but this was too awful. I should have just asked for a refund and gave the food back because we legit did not eat it but felt bad.. Such a waste of food and money.

Friendly service for pickup and affordable prices, but this was honestly the worst food I’ve paid money for in a long time. Crab Rangoon was overly chewy and had an overwhelming taste of old, spent cooking oil. Chicken fried rice looked like it could’ve been boiled/blanched based on the color and absence of flavor. Pad Thai was hardly spicy, lacked flavor, and noodles were mushy and over cooked. This restaurant is proud to be “MSG Free” which probably contributes to the total lack of flavor. We hardly ate any of our food and threw the rest away, unwilling even to feed to our dogs. I will not order from here again nor would I eat the food if it was offered to me for free. Incredibly disappointing…

Ordered here for dinner for myself tonight as my family was getting Chipotle and I'm not a fan. The food tasted ok. The Rangoons were not filled enough however and the shrimp was not crispy. I wouldn't even bother leaving a review if I didn't feel incredibly ill about 30 minutes after I have finished eating. I don't think I'll be ordering here again.

We order takeout. I ordered Bangkok chicken very mild I'm not a spicy type of guy and they sent it spicy. To make matters worse, the only gave us one container of rice They used to give two. The rice would have helped neutralize the spiciness but because they cut back on the amount of rice they give you I had to get rid of the rest of it
