About Asian Cafe

Asian Cafe, located at 811 NE Alsbury Blvd #400 in Burleson, Texas, serves as a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, providing a range of Asian-inspired cuisine to the community. Situated in Burleson, TX 76028, USA, Asian Cafe can be contacted at (817) 447-6666 or via mobile phone at +1 817-447-6666 for inquiries or to place orders. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance, comprehensive service offerings, and unique features are not extensively detailed in the provided information, customer reviews offer some insights into the dining experience at Asian Cafe.

One customer initially described Asian Cafe as "very tasty for a quick snack," noting the generous portion sizes, particularly for a meal priced around $25 that could serve two people. This suggests that Asian Cafe may offer value in terms of the quantity of food provided. However, this reviewer also mentioned that the "orange chicken was kinda too big," indicating a potential imbalance in the proportion of certain dishes. Overall, their initial impression was that the restaurant was "ok."

However, the same reviewer later shared a significantly negative experience in an edit to their original comment. This incident involved their grandmother falling and breaking her hip at the restaurant on November 16, 2024, around 1:00 PM. The review expresses deep dissatisfaction with the staff's response, stating that no one came to check on their grandmother or offer assistance. Instead, the reviewer alleges that the staff went to the back and laughed. Furthermore, when the reviewer called the restaurant to request video footage of the fall for their grandmother's doctor, they were promised a callback after the footage was found but reportedly never received one. This paints a picture of severely lacking customer service and a concerning lack of empathy in a situation involving a customer's injury on the premises.

Another customer review draws a comparison between Asian Cafe and "Taste of Asia," suggesting a potential similarity in the style or quality of food offered. This reviewer provided more specific feedback on the dishes they tried, noting that "the rice wasn't dry, soup wasn't too thick, the meat was tender." These are positive comments regarding the texture and quality of these specific components of their meal. However, they also mentioned that "the vegetables could have been steamed a little longer," indicating a minor issue with the preparation of the vegetables.

Considering these reviews, the perception of Asian Cafe appears to be somewhat mixed. On one hand, there is an indication of tasty food and generous portions, which could be appealing to customers looking for value and satisfying meals. On the other hand, the serious incident involving a customer's injury and the alleged lack of appropriate response from the staff raises significant concerns about customer service and safety protocols within the establishment. The comparison to another local restaurant, Taste of Asia, might give potential customers a general idea of the type of cuisine and quality to expect, with some dishes receiving positive remarks while others might have areas for improvement.

Due to the limited information and the significant negative feedback regarding the handling of a customer injury, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment or any unique features of Asian Cafe. The focus of the available reviews is primarily on food quality, portion size, and, most notably, a critical incident concerning customer safety and service. The lack of any mention of specific promotional offers suggests that information on discounts or special deals is not readily available through these customer reviews.

For local users considering Asian Cafe, it is essential to weigh the positive comments about food taste and portion sizes against the serious allegations of poor customer service and mishandling of a customer injury. The comparison to Taste of Asia might offer some insight into the culinary style, but the stark contrast in customer service experiences presented in the reviews should be taken into account. Potential patrons may want to inquire directly with the restaurant about their safety procedures, customer service protocols, and any current promotions before deciding to dine at Asian Cafe. The provided phone numbers offer a means to do so.

In conclusion, Asian Cafe in Burleson, TX, is a Chinese restaurant that has received both positive and very negative feedback from its customers. While some have found the food tasty and the portions generous, a significant incident involving a customer injury and the alleged inadequate response from the staff raises serious concerns about the restaurant's customer service and safety measures. The comparison to another local eatery suggests a certain style of cuisine, but potential diners should consider the full spectrum of feedback before making a decision. Further inquiry directly with Asian Cafe may be necessary to obtain a more complete understanding of their current environment, services, and any ongoing promotions.

Edit- We will never eat here again! My grandmothers chair slipped out from under her when she was sitting down at the table and fell, she broke her hip in the restaurant on 11-16-24 around 1:00 pm. No one came to see if she was ok or if we needed any help, but thought it appropriate to all go to the back and laugh. I called to see if the they had video footage of her fall for her Doctor to understand how this break occurred. They told me they would call me back after finding it and haven't heard one thing back. Horrible customer service. A lot like Taste of Asia. The rice wasn't dry, soup wasn't too thick, the meat was tender. The vegetables could have been steamed a little longer,

The sushi here was terrible. I was super skeptical to even eat it after opening up the boxes and seeing it. The California roll tasted like cream cheese than had been left out for far too long. The Asian Lover roll literally tasted like shrimp wrapped in rice. The crab rangoon tasted like they wrapped cardboard around it. The girls working the counter were cold when I picked up my order. All in all, I won't be returning to this restaurant.

The little girl on the phone misheard me say “crab tempura” when I said CRAB RANGOON. I called the store back to tell them that I had a wrong item. Instead of apologizing, the little girl was adamant that she heard crab tempura. All I wanted was to get the correct item or the refund back of the difference. The little girl said that the “best” they can do is give me store credit of $2.50. I told her that I am not going to live in this area much longer. I have ordered from this place various times and I have never experience such HORRIBLE customer service. They will lose my business for good. Do NOT support this small business. You will regret it.
