About ASIAN BISTRO
Welcome to ASIAN BISTRO, a Chinese restaurant located at 7736 North Point Blvd #200, Winston-Salem, NC 27106, USA. Operating under the platform category of "Chinese Restaurant," ASIAN BISTRO offers a range of Asian-inspired dishes to the local community. If you are in the Winston-Salem area and seeking a nearby option for Chinese cuisine, ASIAN BISTRO is one of the available establishments.
Based on recent customer feedback, experiences at ASIAN BISTRO have been notably negative, with significant concerns raised regarding the quality of the food. One customer who placed an online order totaling $30, including a tip, reported multiple issues upon arriving home with their meal. The chicken on a stick was described as "super dry and overcooked." Furthermore, the chicken fried rice was criticized for containing "old burnt food" from previous cooking, along with "mushy questionable chicken." The fried dumplings were reported to be soggy, and the egg roll was also overcooked. This customer concluded their review by strongly advising against eating at ASIAN BISTRO, suggesting that there are "definitely better places around Winston."
Another customer shared an even more alarming experience with a specific dish, the fried chicken and shrimp fried rice. They explicitly advised others not to order it, stating that "the chicken was horrible" and that the bones were black. This reviewer also mentioned a negative interaction with the staff regarding a refund for the unsatisfactory chicken, claiming that the restaurant representative said they "cant control how the chicken is!!" This resulted in the customer vowing to "NEVER AGAIN!!" patronize ASIAN BISTRO.
The provided information offers no details regarding the environment of ASIAN BISTRO. The negative reviews focus solely on the quality of the food and, in one instance, the customer service related to a food issue. Without any positive or descriptive comments about the restaurant's ambiance, cleanliness, or decor, it is impossible to provide an objective overview of its environment based on the available information.
Similarly, the services offered by ASIAN BISTRO can only be inferred from the negative feedback. The first review mentions placing an order online and picking it up, indicating that takeout service is available. The second review does not specify the method of ordering but implies a direct interaction with the restaurant regarding a problem with their food. Delivery service is not explicitly mentioned in either review, so it is unclear whether ASIAN BISTRO offers this option. The negative interaction regarding the refund suggests potential issues with their customer service policies when food quality is a concern.
The features of ASIAN BISTRO, based on the limited information, include a menu that offers dishes such as chicken on a stick, chicken fried rice, fried dumplings, egg rolls, and fried chicken and shrimp fried rice. However, the overwhelmingly negative feedback on the preparation and quality of several of these items raises significant concerns about the overall culinary standards at the restaurant. The presence of a staff member who was unwilling to provide a refund for reportedly inedible chicken also stands out as a problematic feature of their service approach.
There is no promotional information available in the provided customer reviews. It is unknown whether ASIAN BISTRO currently offers any discounts, special deals, or loyalty programs. Given the strongly negative feedback regarding food quality, any potential promotions would likely need to be accompanied by a significant improvement in the standard of their dishes to attract and retain customers.
Located on North Point Blvd in Winston-Salem, ASIAN BISTRO is situated in a commercial area. For local users considering dining at or ordering from this establishment, it is crucial to take into account the severely negative experiences reported by recent customers regarding the quality of the food and, in one case, the customer service. These reviews paint a concerning picture of the restaurant's current standards. Potential patrons may want to exercise caution and consider alternative Chinese restaurants in the Winston-Salem area that have received more positive feedback.
In conclusion, the available information paints a concerning picture of ASIAN BISTRO in Winston-Salem, NC. Recent customer reviews express strong dissatisfaction with the quality of multiple dishes, including overcooked chicken, fried rice with burnt remnants and questionable chicken, soggy dumplings, and overcooked egg rolls. Additionally, one customer reported a negative interaction regarding a refund for inedible chicken. There is no information provided about the restaurant's environment or any current promotions. Local users are strongly advised to consider these negative experiences when making dining decisions in Winston-Salem and may want to explore other Chinese restaurants in the area that have received more favorable reviews.

I placed an order online coming to a total of 30 bucks including a two dollar tip. I went and picked up my order but when I got home the chicken on a stick was super dry and overcooked, their chicken fried rice had old burnt food from whatever they cooked their rice in along with mushy questionable chicken, my fried dumplings were soggy and my egg roll was also overcooked. There is definitely better places around winston and I definitely do not recommend eating here.
I ordered the fried chicken n shrimp fried rice, DONT DO IT THE CHICKEN WAS HORRIBLE THE BONES WERE BLACK N SHE WOULD NOT REFUND FOR THE CHICKEN!! I HAVE NEVER N SHE SAID THEY CANT CONTROL HOW THE CHICKEN IS!! NEVER AGAIN!!
Tldr: dedicated customer from the beginning; yelled at to leave after starting order because she had a bad day. The only reason you go here is for reliably mediocre food like all hole-in-the-wall places. I’m a fair customer. If a server is having a bad day I don’t care if they don’t even acknowledge me as long as I get what I ordered on time. On several occasions that wasn’t even true but I always waited patiently with a smile because hey at least the dependable mediocre food would come. I guess the current reality of things was just too much and the lady finally had a break. On the rare occasion I decide to bring a friend, no less. We were simply looking at a menu after starting the order and two boys came in. She yelled at us to leave with absolutely zero undue grace, she couldn’t take our order. I don’t know what happened for her to take her bad life out on me but I don’t deserve it and nothing about my experience in the history of this place has ever been worth getting yelled at and I won’t tolerate it. I only started going here because they offered tofu when few places did. Inertia set in. That’s it. I will never be back. I’m sorry the world is hostile. I’m not your enemy. Good luck in ‘25. Outlook not great. BTW, not that it’s relevant since you don’t even offer dinning room service any more, but it’s never ok to mop with filthy bleach water directly at customer’s feet while they’re eating. It’s not clean like you think it is. It doesn’t make the customer feel like the place is extra clean. Also the wall appliqués have ridiculously funny pictures and misspelled english phrases. I guess no one ever told them it doesn’t make sense. Windmills: how do they work? I guess Asia is known for their meadows and large whimsical wooden windmills.
The Asian Bistro Experience (Call In / Pick Up Edition). I called Asian Bistro and ordered their mixed vegetable lunch combination with vegetable fried rice and spring roll on my quest to try different restaurants. Kind of pricey for lunch, but you never know what size you get, so I was optimistic. Once arriving, I encountered a worker taking an order over the telephone. I saw the worker roll their eyes while on the phone and just imagined her doing me the same when I called to place my order. Once at my destination to eat, I did enjoy my food. The vegetables tasted fresh, and the rice was good. So would I return to the Asian Bistro? I feel like their customer service lacks, and their prices are high for me. My order came close to $10.00 for lunch; however, the size was the same as your typical small lunch take-out size. Nevertheless, the flavor was there. However, I have had just as good at other spots where the prices are lower, and the customer service is good.
The food was good but the environment was a bit downing. I wasn’t greeted with pleasantries and there’s a lot of “precautions” being taken because of the 😷
